This paper presents the development of MentorMate, an Android-based platform designed to connect students with expert mentors for project guidance. The application provides a structured mentorship system where students can seek assistance from verified teachers in their respective domains. MentorMate integrates features such as real-time mentorship requests, project tracking, teacher profile management, and secure payment processing, ensuring a seamless collaboration experience. The platform enhances student-teacher interaction through instant messaging, expertise-based mentor selection, and Firebase-powered real-time updates. Designed with Material Design principles, the app delivers a modern and intuitive user experience. Additional functionalities include chat support, mentorship request handling, notification alerts, and offline support. This study highlights the need for an accessible, efficient, and structured mentorship solution, bridging the gap between students and academic mentors in the digital age.

Real-time messaging and notifications ensure smooth communication, and an integrated payment system allows secure transactions for mentorship services.
