Making time for ourselves is easy to say but difficult to accomplish. Women need other women for fellowship, to bear one another’s burdens, and to share the good times and the bad times. We know in our hearts how much we need the kinship, but applying the words, in some cases, does not happen. If we do not take care of ourselves, we will become exhausted and spread too thin; it will be difficult to be effective for anyone else. Draw upon Scripture, worship music, and hymns to find your peace. The old hymn “There Will be Peace in the Valley” reminds us that the bear will be gentle, the wolves will be tame, and the lion shall lay down with the lamb. Trusting in God allows our bears, lions, and wolves to all be eased by the Word of God and the promise of His love. If we first find our peace in God, we will find a peace that
