Libanus Adventurers
Residential Visits 2023
At Libanus Primary we believe that our curriculum needs to be holistic and develop the whole child. We believe that residential visits provide our pupils with the opportunities to develop a range of personal and social skills. They also provide pupils with experience of a range of adventurous and cultural activities. Allpupils had the opportunity to attend the following residentialin 2023;
Year 3 – Cardiff Urdd City Sleepover (1 night)
Year 4 – Manor Adventure (2 nights)
Year 5 – Dolygaer (2 nights)
Year 6 – PGL Tregoyd House (2 nights)
In 2024 pupils will have the opportunity to visit Cardiff Urdd (Year 3), PGL Tregoyd House (Year 4), Dolygaer (Year 5) andLlangrannog(Year 6)
Cardiff Urdd City Sleepover
Year 3 pupils had the opportunity to visit Cardiff Bay and stay in the Cardiff Urdd Centre in June 2023 for 1 night. Duringthe visittheyenjoyedaboatand walkingtour, bowling and visitedtheSenedd and Techniquest.
Manor Adventure
Year 4 pupils had the opportunity to visit Manor Adventure in June 2023. During the visit they had the opportunity to participate in a range of adventurous activities including assault course, fencing, raft building, abseiling,zip wire,archery, rifle shootingandcamp craft.
Dolygaer
Year 5 pupils had the opportunity to visit Dolygaer in May 2023. During the visit they had the opportunity to participate in a range of adventurous activities including Gorge Walking, Climbing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Crate Stack, ZipWireand HillWalking.
PGL Tregoyd House
Year 6 pupils had the opportunity to visit PGL Tregoyd House in May 2023. During the visit they had the opportunity to participate in a range of adventurous activities including archery, zip wire, Jacob’s Ladder, Trapeze fencing, canoeing,rifle shootingand camp fire.,
