Splash Taylor, Lily-Grace and Aaliyah all participated in a West Lancashire School Sports Partnership Splash Event on Monday 16th March. All three children were fantastic with Lily-Grace and Aaliyah going to compete next Thursday at Nye Bevan. Football Festival On Tuesday 17th March, 8 boys from our school took part in a football festival at Glenburn Sports College. The boys played 4 matches winning 2 and drawing 2 which meant they were through to the semi-finals. Unfortunately the lost 2-0, but came 3rd overall out of 10 schools. As always, the boys represented the school fantastically with great commitment and team work. Team: Adam, Owen, Owen, Rio, John, Dominic, Jay and Declan.

Swimming Gala Thursday 19th March saw 4 girls and 4 boys travel to Wigan Swimming Pool to take part in the annual West Lancashire School Sports Partnership Swimming Gala. The majority of children got through to the finals of their races with Koby getting a silver medal in the boys 25m backstroke and Caitlin receiving silver in the girls 25m breast stroke. The boys finished 3rd in the relay and 3rd overall. The event was fantastic and was enjoyed by pupils, parents and staff. Team: Koby, Adam, Taylor, Callum, Millie, Caitlin, Paige and Lily-Grace.
