Unit 1: Meeting people
Panelmateriaal
Voor je ligt het eerste proefmateriaal voor de nieuwe editie. Het betreft unit 1 voor leerjaar 1. Het meeste materiaal is bedoeld voor niveau vmbo gt/havo. Lesson 4 en 5 zijn echter de opzet voor niveau vmbo b/k. We kiezen hiervoor, omdat we graag ook input willen op de tekst voor niveau b/k. Voor de inhoud van lessen geldt dat we proberen zoveel mogelijk onderdelen en onderwerpen voor alle niveaus gelijk te houden in leerjaar 1. Het kan zijn dat teksten in dit proefmateriaal nog niet helemaal correct zijn. Een spelfoutje hier en daar is mogelijk. Ook is er nog geen controle op het materiaal gedaan door een native speaker. Dit zijn allemaal stappen die we normaliter wel nemen. In een proefhoofdstuk of wanneer de boeken gereed zijn, hebben we deze controles natuurlijk wel gedaan.

Zayn: Hi Kylie, how’s things?
Kylie: Hey, Zayn. Good thanks! Great photo of your classmates. I’ve got some questions.
Zayn: Sure, fire away!
Kylie: OK so, where are you in the photo?
Zayn: I’m not in the photo.
