Mrs Hinch here!
Welcome to your very own Little Book of Lists!
A whole book filled with Hinch Lists, Tadaas and Fresh’n Up Fridays to help you organise and plan your hinching. My idea of absolute notebook heaven!
There’s a year’s worth of Hinch Lists, Tadaas and Fresh’n Up Fridays packed into this little book!
You all know just how much I love a Hinch List. It’s where I get everything that’s buzzing around my head out and on to the page. I’d honestly be lost without it! It’s the centre of all my hinching planning for the week, and amazing for writing down all those little bits you need to remember – which is why you’ll almost always see mine with an ad hoc section. I genuinely find that I’m much more likely to actually get on and do things if I’ve written them down (with the added bonus of getting to tick off the hinched check box, of course).
I love to sit down on a Sunday evening with my crystal pen and take a bit of time out to write and plan everything that I need to get done. It makes me feel so much more organised and ready to take on the week ahead.
It’s no secret that I love a Hinch Haul, so there’s a dedicated section to make a note if you’ve run out of any hinching products. I mainly like to use this area now to write down any of those odd bits I might need to pick up when I’m out and about doing the food shop, like nappies for Ronnie or treats for Henry. But you’ve got to remember, guys, this is a blank template for you to use exactly how you like. I would love for you to be able to make it your own and do exactly what works for you! And don’t forget to tag me in your Hinch Lists! I just love seeing them!
Tadaa Lists are quickly becoming one of my favourite things to do, especially since having our Ronnie. They’re so useful when we’re having one of those days where tackling the jobs on our Hinch List just seems all a bit too much. You know the types of days I mean? Those days when we could do with being that little bit kinder to ourselves. We all have them, and that’s totally fine. Tadaas are a great way of looking back and seeing just how much we’ve achieved when we thought we didn’t feel up to accomplishing very much at all. I always end up surprising myself with how much I get done and I know you will too! It feels incredible!
Lastly, you’ll find Fresh’n Up Friday Lists. On Fridays, while I still have my main Hinch List rolling away in the background, I like to pick at least three rooms in the house and three things in each of those rooms that I’d like to get on and hinch to give our home that little bit of a freshen up, ready for cosy family time over the weekend. You can, of course, do more if you’d like (absolutely no rules here, remember!) but I’ve always said little and often works best for me. And then I can get on with the list I’ve written throughout the day, in and around whatever plans I’ve made. There’s nothing better than waking up on a Saturday to that freshly hinched feeling.
I hope this Little Book of Lists really helps you to feel more organised and calm, and I hope, once the year is up, that you’ll look back on all of the amazing hinching you’ve done and feel proud of how much you’ve managed to achieve!
I can honestly say that I’m constantly blown away by the amount of love and support that you all show me and my little family. Together we’ve built this absolutely amazing community of supportive Hinchers. I literally feel like I have millions of friends who I can turn to, and it just melts me how you all help, encourage and motivate each other too. We really are all in this together, and from the bottom of my heart, I can’t thank you all enough!
