Potential
1. The urban grain drafted by the SPD is set on a clear intent of connecting the two boroughs, which can be carried forward into the new vision. Also, a high street acting as a green corridor connecting the two boroughs could be envisaged 2. Mix tenure housing to ensure social sustainability is achieved
3. Creating a new and significant cultural hub for the whole of London, also creating jobs for multiple skill levels.
4. A community & health center to meet the needs of the opportunity area based on section 106 5. Creating a vibrant retail & commercial front along North End Road & West Cromwell road to enhance the
derelict edges of the opportunity area 6. Street network to enhance walking and cycling.
Constraints
1.Delivery of accessible and affordable housing. 2. Area allocated for the cultural centre.
