Accelerated Pathways
Earn your master’s degree in as little as one year after completing your bachelor’s.
Our accelerated pathways are designed for driven students who want to turn momentum into mastery, saving both time and money while advancing their careers sooner. Through these pathways, eligible undergraduate students can begin graduate-level coursework in their final year of their bachelor’s program, earning credits that count toward both degrees. Upon graduation, students can transition seamlessly into one of Midland’s respected master’s programs – finishing in just one additional year

5th Year Opportunity
For some student-athletes, eligibility extends beyond four years, creating a unique “5th Year Opportunity” This extra season isn’t just about more time on the field or court it’s also a chance to advance your education and gain a head start on your professional future. With flexible graduate programs designed for student-athletes, Midland makes it possible to keep competing while working toward your master’s degree.
WHY YOU MIGHT HAVE A 5TH YEAR OF ELIGIBILITY
There are several reasons why athletes may qualify for an extra year, including:
COVID Waiver: NCAA and NAIA granted additional eligibility due to seasons impacted by COVID-19.
Redshirt Year: You trained but did not compete in a given season
Medical Hardship Waiver: You experienced an injury or illness that prevented you from competing.
Transfer Year: Depending on your transfer circumstances, you may have preserved eligibility.
