As February rolls around, I always find myself in a familiar tug-of-war. On one hand, I want to resist the pull of another commercialized holiday, yet on the other, I can’t help but savor the sweet moments it brings—an excuse to celebrate love in all its forms.

Do we opt for a Valentine’s Day date out or settle in for a cozy night at home? A handwritten card or a heartfelt kind word? For me, it’s usually a mix of both. Each of us will find our own ways to mark the occasion, shaped by our unique preferences and personalities. But what unites us all is the opportunity to remind those around us just how much they mean to us.
This month’s issue is dedicated to helping you do just that—celebrating and highlighting the best of what’s to love in our local community.
Let’s take a moment to come together with the people who matter most. Whether they’re in your home, down the street, or across the community, February is a wonderful time to connect and share love.
“Love local” isn’t just about supporting the businesses in your area—it’s about cherishing what’s near to you in every sense.
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that together, we’re stronger. Every month, the stories shared within these pages prove that again and again.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of the life you’re building. Our greatest hope is that this issue helps you love it just a little more than before.
Here’s to a February filled with love—both local and beyond!

MEET THE FACES BEHIND NAPLES’ FAVORITE BUSINESSES

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS.
I’m a brand ambassador for 4EverYoung Anti Aging Solutions in Naples, a wellness and aesthetic company focused on helping people look and feel their best at every age. We offer advanced skincare and personalized wellness programs that support healthy aging from the inside out. My role is to connect people with the solutions that fit their goals and guide them on their journey to feeling more confident and energized.
HOW DOES YOUR BUSINESS CONNECT WITH OR CONTRIBUTE TO THE NAPLES COMMUNITY?
Through 4EverYoung Naples, we’re able to educate, support, and guide clients toward healthy-aging solutions that align with their lifestyle. Beyond the business, I love networking, collaborating with local professionals, and building a community where everyone feels encouraged and empowered.

In the next year, I hope to grow our business by reaching more people in Naples who are passionate about aging well. Darius Rucker, Russel Dickerson, O.A.R. and Rock Republic put on an amazing show at Southwest Florida’s largest outdoor music festival. The Live Fest event held at Tiburon Golf Club at the Ritz-Carlton was once again sold out for the sixth year in a row. It blends country with rock and roll and other genres to create “a something for everyone” feeling. The weather was again perfect on December 13th and the crowd electric.
Darius headlined Live Fest for the second time duplicating his 2019 standout performance with additional hits. Russel Dickerson who has the current #1 song, “Happened to Me,” was quite the showman letting SW Florida understand what “Russellmania” really is. O.A.R, who has sold out Madison Square Garden and played Red Rocks fifteen times, brought their refined 90s rock to a new level after local hometown heroes Rock Republic open the show.
DJ Sinister, who has toured with Big and Rich for 8 years, keeps the energy going in between sets as he runs the turntables, sings along and keeps the crowd pumped up.

Since its genesis in 2019 Live Fest continues to grow and attract major sponsors such as the presenting sponsor First Horizon Bank, Seagate Development, Stock Development, TerraCap, Bramshill Investments, Cutwater, Grant Thornton, QBE Insurance, Allegro Group, iHeart Radio, UBS, Tito’s, Dunkin' Donuts, Zoom Tan to name a few.
From the very beginning Live Fest founder Steve Hagenbuckle wanted to give something back to Southwest Florida. Growing up here, he saw a big live music void. After careful planning, he found the right operating partner in Wasserman Group and the right location that met a higher-end demographic. That location being Tiburon Golf Club at the Ritz-Carlton. Holding the event during a major PGA/LPGA event added to the appeal and draw. After discussions with Taylor Ives and Rob Hartman at Wasserman, the trio attained the necessary approvals from

Greg Norman and the PGA back as well as Kevin DeDonato from Tiburon in 2019 and the rest is history, as they say.
When asked “what are the most challenging parts to the puzzle,” Hagenbuckle states talent blend first, and then logistics and ensuring a memorable safe experience for all attendees with a commitment to further refine every subsequent year. The team seems to do just that year after year continually increasing the investment in the event to improve the experience for all. Over 300 Live Fest team members, local first responders and volunteers work together to deliver the experience.
It is notable to mention that Live Fest was our magazine’s first cover feature story and has been multiple times since. Greg Dodge and Steve Hagenbuckle have developed a strong bond and friendship ever since their first publishing years ago.
When on stage, Steve invited up his new friend and new Naples part-time resident, Ira Dean. Ira, who used to live with Johnny Cash when he was in his twenties in the Nashville area, was introduced to Steve by good friend and Lenkbar founder, Erik Papenfuss. Ira was the 2003 ACM AMA Artist of the Year and New Country Artist winner as well as a Grammy nominee with his band Trick Pony. He recently hit iTunes #1 top music video with “What Would Charlie Daniels Do” which he performs with Ted Nugent who also has had local ties to Southwest Florida. Ira Dean has over 100 songs to his credit has even written songs with Darius Rucker back in the early 2000s.
The Live Fest Team is already at work planning for Live Fest 2026! An event not to miss and one to mark your calendar with. It is always the second Saturday of every December!

My first impression of The Mark began outside, on Madison Avenue at 77th Street. A row of stately brownstones lines the block, their elegance softened by mature trees and a glimpse of Central Park’s foliage just beyond. Hotel guests and locals gather at The Mark’s outdoor tables as Madison Avenue’s city life passes by. The Mark stands at the center, regal but inviting, capturing the allure of a neighborhood defined by sophistication and style.
Stepping inside, the atmosphere hints at what waits above. The lobby instantly wraps you in graphic chic. The moody-lit Mark Bar, all orange hues and soft lighting, beckons you to linger over a cocktail. Those warm tones continue into the adjacent seating area, where burnt-orange fabric and vivid artwork amplify Jacques Grange’s iconic black-and-white striped floors.
The energy softens as you ascend upstairs to a room in gentle neutrals, luxurious bedding and subtle accents
anchored by a kaleidoscope artwork above the bed. The bathroom, with distinctive mint-lacquered cabinetry and those familiar striped floors, offers a soothing echo of the vibrancy below, a spaciousness not often found in Manhattan hotels.
Dining at The Mark blends the pulse of Madison Avenue with pure culinary indulgence. An outdoor lunch at Caviar Kaspia invites the thrill of people-watching. A full caviar service arrives with all the classic accompaniments, plus Kaspia Tacos (and, yes, more caviar), all paired with crisp champagne. The Mark Restaurant by JeanGeorges becomes its own scene, candlelit tables and elegant décor, keeping the room alive with conversation, while a flawlessly cooked filet mignon builds toward an exceptional dessert. Birthdays, toasts, and a flurry of celebration turn the night into an occasion as distinguished as The Mark Restaurant bar.
The real showstopper sits above it all. The Mark Penthouse spans more than 10,000 square feet of interiors across two

levels, with an additional 2,500-square-foot terrace perched above the Upper East Side, catching slices of Central Park and the city skyline. Five bedrooms, fireplaces, a library, conservatory, dining room, and generous salons give the space the feel of a private Manhattan residence. What feels newly compelling is how the penthouse leans into wellness and longevity. Just off the living spaces, a private Technogym Training Room is fitted with Italian-designed, AI-guided equipment, sleek machines and a mirrored Kinesis wall that makes every workout feel quietly high-tech. Nearby, a dedicated Augustinus Bader spa room and smart cold plunge on the terrace create a ritual of recovery. Picture face and body treatments, city views, and the ability to move seamlessly from training session to terrace plunge without ever leaving your suite.
Regardless of room category, that ethos extends to every guest. A 24-hour fitness center on the second floor is outfitted with next-generation equipment. Steps away, the Frédéric Fekkai Salon readies guests for any occasion,

ARTICLE BY LAUREN ROSSI

For Sher Canada, the founder of SHECANLOVE, clothing has always been about more than what hangs in a closet. It’s about how a woman feels when she looks in the mirror, and whether she recognizes her own beauty staring back.
That philosophy is the same one that inspired her to write her book, The Mirror’s Been Lying to You . At its core, both the book and the brand share a singular mission: to help women feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable in their own skin.
“I just want to make women feel and look beautiful,” she says. “That’s my goal."
SHECANLOVE was created as a one-stop destination for women who want elevated pieces that fit seamlessly into real life. The brand’s trademarked mantra, "luxury you live in ," comes to life through thoughtfully curated collections that span golf, tennis, athleisure, and dresses for both day and night. The idea is simple: no matter the occasion, she can dress you for it.
What began as a small tennis-focused concept offered in the Ritz-Carlton eventually evolved into SHECANLOVE as it exists today. The brand found its home in Naples, and this June will mark five years in its current location at 858 Neapolitan Way.
Launching the boutique, however, wasn’t without its moments of hesitation. After spending her career working for large corporations, taking the leap into entrepreneurship came with a new kind of risk - especially signing a five-year lease.
“When you sign your name to a lease like that, you can’t change your mind,” she explains. “I’d never had to do that before. Once you do it, you’re all in.”
The brand’s name itself carries deep personal meaning. “She Can” comes from the first three letters of her first name and the first three letters of her last name - a coincidence she embraced wholeheartedly. “Who gets a name like that?” she says with a laugh. “Talk about female empowerment.” The word Love was later added during her time at the Ritz for a tennis concept, but

the full name stuck. Today, SHECANLOVE is more than a brand, but a mantra she proudly carries everywhere.
At the heart of the boutique experience is personalization. Her approach to styling mirrors the guidance found in her book, which includes chapters on finding personal style, choosing flattering pieces, buying pants for your body, and even taking better photos.
“The clothes are just the extra sauce on top,” she says. “My real goal is how you feel.” Whether it’s pulling a shade of blue to accentuate a customer’s eyes or choosing silhouettes that highlight what makes each woman unique, her process always starts with seeing the individual first.

“My real goal is how you feel.” Whether it’s pulling a shade of blue to accentuate a customer’s eyes or choosing silhouettes that highlight what makes each woman unique, her process always starts with seeing the individual first.

Building a boutique also brought unexpected lessons, especially after coming from a corporate environment with thousands of stores and extensive support teams. “When you have 2,200 stores, there’s a whole team handling everything,” she explains. “When you have one store, you still have to do all the same things. That was the biggest shock.”

“YOU CAN FEEL THE PRIDE IN ITS HISTORY PAIRED WITH AN EYE TOWARD WHAT IS AHEAD.”
From the moment you arrive at The Boca Raton, it is clear this is no ordinary resort. Spanning 200 acres along the Intracoastal, the property feels expansive yet intentional. It is grand in scale but thoughtfully designed so nothing ever feels overwhelming. The iconic pink tower sets the tone, but it is the experience that follows that truly defined our stay.
Valet was warm and welcoming, check in at the Tower was seamless, and within minutes we were stepping into our Tower Suite, greeted by sweeping panoramic views of the Intracoastal and marina below. The suite was spacious and well designed, with a layout that made traveling as a family accommodating. Comfortable seating, thoughtful details, and floor to ceiling windows made it a space we genuinely enjoyed spending time in, not just sleeping.
With the resort’s Centennial year approaching in 2026, there is a quiet sense of momentum across the property. You can feel the pride in its history paired with an eye toward what is ahead. Refined updates, elevated experiences, and a confidence that comes from doing luxury well for nearly a century.
Traveling with kids often means compromise, but The Boca Raton has mastered the balance between high end hospitality and family travel.

“POLISHED YET WELCOMING, EXPANSIVE YET PERSONAL, AND THOUGHTFULLY DESIGNED FOR BOTH ADULTS AND FAMILIES, IT IS A RESORT THAT CONTINUES TO EVOLVE.”
Luxury and comfort coexist naturally here. The resort creates distinct spaces that allow everyone to enjoy the weekend in their own way.
Saturday morning began slowly with breakfast at Top of the Tower, where panoramic views stretch across the ocean, marina, and golf course. It is the kind of setting that encourages you to linger. From there, I slipped away to Spa Palmera, a beautifully designed sanctuary inspired by Spanish architecture. The atmosphere is calming and restorative, and the indoor-outdoor layout makes it easy to lose track of time.
While I enjoyed quiet downtime, the kids were happily occupied for hours at the Princess Cabana at the Harborside Pool Club. With a pirate ship, water cannons, slides, and themed cabanas, it feels like an experience within the resort. It quickly became the highlight of their trip and ours. The kids were entertained, and we were able to relax knowing they were having just as good of a vacation.
Dinner that evening at Harbor House delivered exactly what you want after a full day in the sun. Relaxed, coastal, and scenic. Sitting along the Intracoastal as boats passed by and the sky softened into sunset felt quintessentially South Florida. The menu leaned fresh and approachable, the service was warm and attentive, and the pace of the evening felt unrushed.
We wrapped up the weekend with brunch at The Flamingo Grill, a lively space that blends mid century charm with a modern sensibility. It was the perfect final stop before heading home. Energetic, stylish, and memorable without trying too hard.
As we checked out, it was easy to understand why The Boca Raton remains such a beloved destination. Polished yet welcoming, expansive yet personal, and thoughtfully designed for both adults and families, it is a resort that continues to evolve. With 2026 on the horizon, the excitement surrounding what is next feels well deserved.

PREPARING YOUR NAPLES HOME FOR THE OFF-SEASON
By Frankie P., Owner, Freedom Technologies
As another beautiful Naples winter draws to a close, many homeowners are getting ready to make their way north. Before you pack the car and say goodbye to paradise, a little planning now can go a long way toward protecting your home while you’re away.
Start by checking your security system. Make sure your cameras, sensors, and alarms are all working properly, and that your monitoring service has your current contact information. Most systems today allow remote access right from your phone, so you can peek in anytime and get instant alerts if something changes. Because so many of our smart home features depend on Wi-Fi, it’s also smart to think about backup internet options. A brief
power or service outage can take your home offline just when you need it most. Adding Starlink as a backup connection is becoming increasingly popular—it provides a satellite-based signal that keeps your automation and security systems running even if your main provider goes down.
Next, prepare for Florida’s summer conditions. Check your air conditioning and humidity settings to prevent mold, make sure surge protection and backup power are ready, and tidy up landscaping before storm season.
If you rely on a home-watch service, share a clear checklist so they know exactly what to look for during inspections.
A few thoughtful steps now can mean peace of mind all summer long—and a warm welcome back when you return to your Naples home next season.
