You're Just Born With It

What could be more personal than someone's personal style? I mean, I think not much. Style, to me, is a lot like possessing a sense of humor. It's a craft that you can perfect and hone in on, but it's a natural gift that really tells a lot about a person. It's a trait that individualizes someone, and cannot be copied.

Obviously, anyone can have their own personal style in many different areas of life; how they dress, cook, do businesses, decorate, and the list goes on. My background is fashion design, so naturally fashion styling is where my heart lies. I went to school for design, and quickly landed a job right out of college in NYC. While entering the industry at 21 years old was actually a dream come true for a girl who grew up in Shawnee, Kansas, but I had a quick realization in my new career. You can become a master in a technical skill, but to actually have an individual eye for style is apart of one’s intuition.

Style comes from the gut. Style is when something doesn't make sense to your peers around you, but it is so absolutely yourself.  What better compliment to receive than "This looks exactly like you!"?

HUE HAIR STUDIO

Enhancing each clients’ personal style and beauty in a way that is unique to them.

Hue Hair Studio is a boutique salon located on West End Avenue in Nashville, TN. The concept was created by Allison Paschal and Robert Roethemeyer, who have been friends and colleagues since 2008. After years of styling at the same salon, they wanted to challenge themselves and their growth; ultimately deciding to start their own studio together. Creating a laid-back yet informative culture where they can train assistants, stay ahead of the latest and greatest trends, and maintain strong relationships with their clients, Allison and Robert took their expertise and passion for their craft and transformed it into a community loved by many.

Hue Hair Studio opened their doors almost three years ago and currently have nine stylists and three apprentice on their team. Their goal was to create an environment that invites clients into a relaxing and chic salon atmosphere, all while striving to maintain quality services and memorable experiences for their guests. Training and education also remained a non-negotiable when Allison and Robert began to add to their team; specializing in everything from haircuts to healthy lived-in color, dimensional work, extensions, gray coverage, and beyond. Each month all assistants attend a class hosted by Allison and Robert to learn the ins-and-outs to perfect

their skills. In addition, Hue Hair also offer classes to external stylists, often hosting influencers and content creators to partake in the fun.

Allison and Robert are in awe of the loyalty of their clients – since majority of their business is referral based, they have formed special relationships with each person who walks through their door.

“I joke that I can’t remember what I ate for breakfast, but the second you sit down in my chair I’m like, ‘how is your son enjoying college?’ or ‘did your daughter make that move to New York?’ It’s all about the interpersonal connections.” Robert shares.

In addition, staying up to date on new technology, techniques, and products is a priority at Hue. Allison and Robert love keeping up with all the hair trends and are excited to now be offering a new hypoallergenic color line that helps clients who are sensitive to standard color. In addition, the pair have perfected the V-Light technique, becoming certified in this new, undetectable way to insert hair extensions, helping add to hairline loss. The beauty industry is everchanging, and Hue is committed to offering the most up to date and healthiest technologies to maintain the integrity of the hair.

“The process of opening and owning a salon has been extremely humbling,” Allison shares. “I’m learning to trust our great staff to help match my energy and balance me along with a great business partner. I still want to take care of my clients one hundred percent, but know that sometimes I am needed elsewhere. Utilizing the team to best our clients has been such a big help and relief.” Robert adds, “Having that teamwork and communication [contribute] to the organic side of a business not having to be perfect almost makes it even better.”

A Family Culture

WHAT OUR AGENTS SAY

appreciate a family-like atmosphere in a professional environment. If this aligns with your values, contact us to schedule a confidential meeting.

I love working for LHI because of the exceptional service provided to agents; therefore, as an agent, I can provide exceptional customer service and commitment to my clients, whether selling their houses or finding them their next home! LHI is a full-service real estate brokerage— the white glove of real estate! Additionally, I appreciate the supportive and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and professional development.

I ran my husband's outdoor living spaces company for ten years before becoming a realtor. LHI is the only firm I know of that makes sense as a business owner. You ACTUALLY get something out of your percentage cut. Most brokerages take from you when you do the work, and you get nothing from them. A full-service company is the only way to go when you are a realtor.

Working with LHI has transformed my life through paradigm-shifting training, a culture of topproducing service-oriented agents, and leadership support from seasoned pros who've sold hundreds of millions in property. Without LHI, we would not be where we are today. If you want to be the best and be around the best, LHI is the place for you

ASPEN LUZIER HAS TURNED HER PERSONAL STORY INTO A LIFESTYLE BRAND. CREATING A SPACE FOR WOMEN TO FEEL EMPOWERED AND FREE TO BE.

The Mother Behind

Happy Little Mother

Aspen Luzier is a wife, mother, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate. Born and raised off the coast in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Aspen has always been a creator by heart. Having a tough childhood, creating is what kept her daydreaming of a colorful, limitless, and abundant world. With her husband being a rockstar drummer in a touring band, the pair are no strangers to excitement and adventure. After residing in Los Angeles, they decided to head south and have called Music City home for a decade now. Giving up her career when her son was born is something she shares was a bit isolating, but also drove her to do what she was truly passionate about. In 2018, Aspen began a non-profit called Rebel For A Change - an organization dedicated to loving somebody through addiction. While it was healing for her in many ways, she shares that she best connected with others through sharing her own story – which, after a while, became a bit taxing. After a couple years of pouring her soul into the organization, she decided she may need to take her healing journey in a different direction.

CONTINUED >

While she wouldn’t go back to change a single thing, Aspen knows all too well what it looked like to give up her industry career for the sake of being a “Happy Little Mother.” When 2020 came knocking, she seamlessly fell right in line with her rainbow-creating, inner child. As we all sat in solitude, isolated from the world in which we created for ourselves, Aspen, now a mother of two, had a shift in her motherly routine; school was canceled, touring was canceled, and her workload as a mother and wife seemed endless. With her husband now home, swooping into the father role he could never be when touring, it gave her space to find her identity again. At the pandemic’s beginning, Aspen found so much joy creating with her kids. While using social media to share their projects, she nudged the idea of creating a product that she and her kids could sell. They would spend their days tie-dyeing up the most beautiful fabrics and come night, she would cut

the fabric into bandannas and cross-stitch “Mother “ onto each one. What began as a fun, little project with her kids quickly grew into something beyond her imagination. In addition to the bandanas, Aspen flourished into creating her staple piece, the original handstamped “Mother” Tag Necklace, which launched Mother’s Day 2020. Four years later, Happy Little Mother is thriving in sales both online and through her retro pop-up truck she takes around town!

Aspen continued to share that the driving force behind Happy Little Mother has always been the connections she has made from the community within. She describes the strong emotion she feels knowing other mothers are resonating with her story, and loves being able to hear their stories as well. She shares that the power and ignition is always inside someone, and she wants to remind other moms out there that it’s been sitting within them... they just need to unlock it.

“I talk a lot about healing that inner child. It’s beautiful when you become a mother that you get to re-mother your inner child while walking alongside motherhood with your own children. It’s really cool to show my kids that you can build a business this way… you can be open and talk about your feelings and that is very acceptable.” Aspen explains.

Aspen describes that each step in her life has led her to this full-circle journey. Always wanting to be a part of something bigger than herself, Happy Little Mother has partnered with Mamaya Health , a virtual mental health platform dedicated to providing

specialized care for maternal mental health. Together, they have created a scholarship fund, Vote For Mother, and a portion of the collection proceeds help fund this scholarship. This initiative offers financial assistance to women for therapy, supporting mothers, and women wanting to become mothers. The partnership is already making a significant impact, helping women access the care they need. In addition to this huge milestone, Aspen is thrilled to share that Happy Little Mother will soon be available in stores across Tennessee, Florida, and California!

“That has been one of the most incredible pieces of this puzzle… pulling the aspects of Rebel For A Change and being able to give back to this world of women and mothers,” Aspen shares. “I’m still

sharing all the heartache and difficult parts – along with the wins and the beauty - of what it looks like to be a mother, but in a creative way that allows other people to realize different ways to express themselves, too.”

As time is a constant, so is the importance of branding her identity in a seemingly saturated market. By doing so, authenticity to her inner child will remain true throughout her creations. In an abundant world of peace and love, Aspen knows this place is unlocked within, and from her craft of Happy Little Mother, it’s her mission to help others find their rainbow and keep it close to their heart too.

LEAVING A LEGACY

Where Nashville welcomes you with open arms and the promise of a journey that feels like home.

Step into the world of Legacy Hospitality TN, where Nashville’s vibrant soul converges with the warmth of Southern hospitality rental. Legacy invites you to embrace a journey that embodies the spirit of togetherness and the comforts of home; allowing you to revel in new experiences while cherishing the

“I believe that people remember how they are treated and how you make them feel, and that is your legacy.”

solace of the familiar. Legacy’s accommodations are thoughtfully designed to resonate with the essence of your own dwelling, ensuring every moment is steeped in relaxation, connection, and exploration.

Shawn Huffman is the owner of Legacy Hospitality TN and has called Nashville home since 2004. Turning her natural eye for design into her career, she was inspired to start Legacy Hospitality to offer visitors luxury short-term accommodations in Nashville. Elevating getaways with thoughtful designs, curated experiences, and true southern warmth, Shawn explains that Legacy is the branding of the hosting side of being a vacation rental host. Combining southern hospitality and the enjoyment she gets from taking care of guests is where the name Legacy Hospitality came into being. Leveraging her talent, attention to detail, and understanding of the Nashville market, she ensures that every stay will feel like home. Shawn first became acquainted with

design via her college retail profession as a Perry Ellis menswear merchandising representative.

“I would go into department stores and literally redo the entire section where placement, color, texture, ‘feel,’ and layout mattered – it was the perfect position for a perfectionist. I believe this translated into the eye that I have for interior design that I can’t explain,” Shawn shares. “It’s something that I ‘just do’ or that I ‘just feel,’ which makes it a gift. But honestly, I was lucky enough to have someone tell me to just go ahead and decorate an empty space with no formal training and pure trust… thank goodness he’s still married to me!”

When asked how she would describe her design style, Shawn describes it as ‘timeless comfort,’ stating she believes vacation homes should still feel like home. She further explains that she favors designs that are not too trendy, but relaxing, adding that the color palettes she’s typically drawn to

are calm, cool, neutrals with a pop of green – she loves using plants to achieve this!

With Nashville growing at such a rapid pace, Shawn emphasizes the importance of location while picking a spot for rental properties. She shares, “I have been lucky in real estate to have purchased land and properties around downtown Nashville as early as 2007. Without having a crystal ball on Nashville’s growth, neighborhoods that were up and coming at the time are where the vacation rentals are located. Staying inside of the downtown loop was the key.”

As your host, Shawn believes in creating spaces that foster meaningful connections – where open areas inspire communal moments and private retreats offer reflection. In an ever-changing world, Legacy stands firm in the belief that the finer things should be a standard, infusing luxury and indulgence into your Nashville retreat. Each interaction reflects their dedication to hospitality, enriching your stay with personalized attention and unwavering kindness. Experience the legacy they’re crafting, as they weave together comfort, design, and a sense of belonging that transcends boundaries.

Legacy Hospitality's partnership with Minoan allows for guests to shop and purchase pieces within the properties that visitors could see using in their own homes.

“I get a lot of compliments from guests saying they wish I could decorate their home,” Shawn shares. “Overall, as a designer, I hope every guest feels comfortable in their home away from home at my vacation rental homes. As a host, I make sure guests have recommendations for places to go and things to do, adding that extra touch of hospitality. Tying those two elements together leaves a touch of Southern Hospitality...and that's my Legacy.”

Shawn is dedicated to creating an elevated vacation rental experience by providing thoughtfully designed accommodations, carefully curated recommendations, and southern hospitality.  She is committed to offering unparalleled care to each guest that stays at one of her cozy homes, and part of how she

creates this experience is by offering QR codes all around her properties so if guests see something they like, they have easy access to be able to purchase it.

“These QR codes are from a company called Minoan, who offer a shoppable experience at my vacation rental properties,” Shawn explains. “Minoan offers steep discounts to hosts and designers on 200+ brands that include furniture, decor, and more - so as a host, I’m able to curate rooms with top brands like Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, and Wayfair. It’s not only a fantastic shopping experience, but the discounts help me #staymarried and not get into too much retail trouble.”
