It’s August, the 24th. Today we celebrate Independence Day. It’s a special day for all of us. It is a national public holiday in Ukraine and many shops, offices, and school are closed. So, my parents don’t go to work, we meet our friends and walk in the main city square. There are a lot of Ukrainian flags everywhere. People sing the Ukrainian anthem and watch a parade.
