ST. PADDY’S DIVIN’ FOR GOLD
ALL AGES FRIDAY, MARCH 13 FREE
Members are invited to dive in anytime between 5 a.m.-7 p.m. to collect “Leprechaun Gold” tokens from the depths of the pool. The tokens can then be exchanged for prizes.
Registration is required for families attending between 4-7 p.m. Please review the pool rules prior to participating.
CLOVER HUNT

Grab your flashlight and a bag! The silly leprechaun has left behind clovers to find! Who knows, you may find that special clover with gold on it. There will be two groups: ages 3-6 and 6-10. The first group will begin their hunt sharply at 5:30 p.m., with the second group beginning at 5:45 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: The 10-12 and 13-14 year old NFL FLAG Football divisions will also play games against C.W. Avery Family YMCA and Morris Hospital YMCA teams at locations in Plainfield and Morris.

Junior Wolves Dance Team
Led by experienced dance staff, this enthusiastic program will teach aspiring dancers of all skill levels a mix of turns, jumps, and dance routines.

At the Y, we believe that no one should be denied access to YMCA child care programs based on their inability to pay. Ensuring access for all, Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) funds are accepted and financial assistance is also available.

After School Youth Enrichment Program
Teen REACH (Responsibility, Education, Achievement, Caring, and Hope) is a FREE after school program offered in partnership with Joliet Public School District 86. Hosted at the district’s four junior high schools, Teen REACH programming incorporates the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, and includes a resource-rich curriculum that provides students with academic support, life skills education, recreational opportunities, mentorship, STEM, and service learning activities.

The JETS swim clinic is a great opportunity to spend time with the JETS coaches learning new skills and getting an idea of what the team is like. Throughout the clinic, coaches also evaluate swimmers to determine if they meet criteria to be placed on the team. If swimmers do not meet the criteria to join, the YMCA offers swim lesson programs to develop skills.
To participate in the clinic, swimmers must be able to safely swim 25 yards, comfortable with their face in the water. Spots for the team are limited. Clinic registration at a site does not guarantee practice site for the upcoming season.

LAZYMAN TRIATHLON

The LAZYMAN IRONMAN is a triathlon challenge created just for Y members! Participants will have the opportunity to complete a full IRONMAN by swimming, biking and running their way to the finish line at their own pace and in their own time to complete the 140.6-mile race in six weeks. You’ll track your mileage on a personal mileage tracking sheet.

If you are looking to start a new fitness routine and don’t know where to start, or if you have taken a break from exercise and want to get back on track, this FREE program is for you! The Y’s Fit4U program offers guidance, knowledge, and motivation to help you lead a healthier lifestyle and become more physically active. This comprehensive 4-week introductory program will introduce you to the Wellness Center amenities, help you set goals, and design a workout program that works best for you. Each appointment will introduce you to a new element of fitness under the guidance of a Wellness Attendant.
PART 1: GETTING STARTED AND BASELINE TESTS
During this opening session, we will assess your current fitness level, set goals, get body composition (if requested), and complete our Fit4U questionnaire. You will have the opportunity to get set up on the YMCA on the Go App and begin orientation on any cardiovascular equipment (treadmills, ellipticals and bikes) that interests you.
PART 2: CARDIO REVIEW AND UPPER BODY STRENGTH
This session will reinforce the basics of using cardio equipment and add instruction of upper body strength equipment based on your fitness goals.
PART 3: LOWER BODY STRENGTH TRAINING


The third session will introduce lower body strength equipment based on your fitness goals and review progress on your new fitness schedule.
PART 4: PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER
In this closing session, we will review and answer any additional questions related to cardio or strength equipment, workout progressions, and Personal Training options.
Members who complete all 4 sessions will be entered into a raffle for a free personal training session.
