Members of the Howe Middle School F.L.A.G. Club were honored The F.L.A.G. Program was founded in 2010, and there are F.L.A.G. Clubs in over 75 schools across North Texas and Arizona. F.L.A.G. stands for Fly, Lower, And Gather, and the program was created to instill pride and respect among students towards the United States and State Flags. Students are held accountable for the proper Flying, Lowering, And Gathering of the United States and State Flag during the school year. The program’s founder, Jim Rodriguez, who lives in Dallas, is a Retired Master Sergeant (E-7), having served for 21 years in the United States Air Force. He came to the board meeting to present the following students with a Citizenship Award: Catelyn Armstrong, Cierra Brussow, Jazlyn Dilone, Kayley Laubhan, Gracie Max, Madison Morrow, Taylor
