Eighth place wasn't what the Lady Bulldogs had hoped for, but it it much better than 90 percent of the girls golf teams in Texas finished
The Lady Bulldogs finished with a two-day score of 791 which was higher than they had hoped much in part to a first day score of 405 They improved greatly in day two with a 386 score which was the fourth best total of the day

Howe's consistent scoring leader Charlsee Carter led Howe with a 93 on day one and a 91 on day wo She placed 17th overall in 3A competition with her combined 184 Fellow senior Meradith Ross overall with a combined score of 96 and 96 to total 189 Sophomore Molly Wilson shot a 204 while Kriston Harris combined for a 216 and Peyton Streetman changed her softball swing to a golf swing to score 219
The Lady Bulldogs also finished eighth a year ago with Head Coach Derek Lands Their score a year ago was 795 and it was day two that bit them instead of day one in this year's competition
