Girl Scouts making benches for Memorial Park
Mikey Hymel loads the bar and loads up on spotters for a photo-op. Now that renovations have been completed for Bulldog Stadium, the baseball field, and a new softball field, Athletic Director Zack Hudson requested money from the school board to update the weight room and facilities at Howe High
School. Gone are the old dusty floor mats and the rusted out equipment. In are new flooring, fresh painted black, white, and gray walls and updated equipment.
A thank you from Michaela Bledsoe her with an award for the “Most Outstanding Junior 2017.” She also received the N K Qualres Ag scholarship, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Endowment in Agriculture, the Dr. Marsena M. Norris Memorial Endowment, the A.C. “Buck” Hughes Memorial Endowment, and the George O. Carter Endowment. She is an officer in the Collegiate FFA and represented the University at the State Convention where she placed 1st in Prepared Public Speaking and 6th in Lesson Plan event.
