Beaverbrook welcomes guests to a spiritual retreat with Tibetan monk
Luxury UK hotel and spa Beaverbrook recently welcomed Tibetan monk, master Bön lama, Geshe YongDong Losar (Geshela), to the Surrey estate for an exclusive, deeply spiritual five-day residency.
Having begun his spiritual journey at the age of 13, Geshela is a published author and teacher. During the residency he led dedicated workshops for members and guests using traditional Tibetan techniques, offering a unique opportunity to be immersed in ancient spiritual practices. These included preparation for meditation, calm breathing techniques, calm mind practices and exploration of the three levels of breath.
Participants also enjoyed Tibetan techniques such as Tsa Lung (breathwork combined with specialised movement), as well as sessions to open the chakras using the mantra of the five warriors. The morning and evening sessions with Geshela were complimentary for guests and members, while the afternoon sessions were chargeable. A Spiritual Weekend Retreat was also offered. www.beaverbrook.co.uk
