Bridgestone launches Zenbot Salon Morph Inn

Zenbot Salon Morph Inn

Global tyre manufacturer Bridgestone has made a foray into the wellness world with the unique Zenbot Salon Morph Inn robot, which combines Japanese quirkiness with soft robotics to offer a completely new experience.

Zenbot Salon Morph Inn comprises a series of soft, artificial muscles, powered by air, which envelop the client and use haptic technology to perform gently soothing massage-like movements.

It has a soft-textured vegan leather covering and modular design, consisting of three enclosures, for use individually, in pairs or as a three-part recliner.

The brainchild of Bridgestone’s in-house start-up, Bridgestone Softrobotics Ventures, the Morph Inn was unveiled at Milan Design Week 2025 to bring soft robotics into the wellness sector.

Bridgestone is now collaborating with creator group Konel to introduce pop-up Morph Inns across Tokyo, where people can use the robot’s technology to create ‘time to become nothing’ and enjoy the feeling of being freed from purpose.
