Grand Hotel in Brighton reveals £17m refurb with new hydro and spa facilities
As part of a £17m (€18.5m) refurbishment of the Grand Hotel in Brighton, UK, thermal specialist DaleSauna has designed and installed the new thermal experiences for the £2.5m, 699sqm spa, named L. Raphael Beauty Spa & Wellness, in the hotel’s basement.
Dean Edwards, southern sales manager at DaleSauna, said: “We worked with Gurada Design to develop the scheme and interior finishes for the thermal spa area. The installation features a bespoke hydrotherapy pool with hydro jets, air nozzles and a neck massage cannon, with a bespoke sauna finished in thermo-ayous timber.”
Experience showers in mosaic enclosures with wall-mounted jets produce 50 litres of water a minute, while the aromatherapy steam room features ambient mood lighting, ergonomic bench seating and heated walls to maintain a gentle 40˚C. www.dalesauna.co.uk
