KLAFS marries form and function at art’otel London Hoxton

The leading sauna manufacturer has supplied a unique thermal wellness solution at the newly opened hotel, with an illuminated pool by Guncast Pools & Wellness

Based on four pillars of wellness, the wet areas in the newly unveiled Spa at art’otel London Hoxton have been installed by KLAFS and Guncast Pools & Wellness. The offering is centred around the principles focus, sleep, movement and environment.

In addition to a custom-made sauna and steam room by KLAFS, a tailored 12m indoor swimming pool by Guncast is set within a minimalist, monochrome space, defined by striking modern lines and four integrated underwater lights.

Designed to meet the spatial, functional and aesthetic demands of art’otel, the sauna features a U-shaped, two-tier bench to maximise comfort and guest capacity, crated from Obeche, a wood renowned for its low thermal conductivity.

The steam room features KLAFS’ OPTISTEAM technology, which produces a rich, enveloping steam with high water and energy efficiency. Double-insulated ceilings and advanced control systems reduce heat loss and energy consumption.
