Learn about the story of Chinese migration in Cooktown and importance of Chinese lions in the community of far north Queensland. Each participant will make either a Chinese mask or a Chinese hand puppet. Mau Power Dance Workshop This hands-on cultural engagement workshop features traditional dancer and performer Joey Laifoo from Thursday Island. Those who attend are taught skills by Mau Power on live performance and traditional dancing.
