Join us at sunset on the banks of the Endeavour River for a live performance that will bring together up to 40 Indigenous dancers from surrounding clan lands to tell their stories of the dreaming, their history and legends. Tamara Pearson from Sacred Creations will bring together youth from around Cooktown to work with industry professionals to create three exciting new and vibrant dance performances.
The audience will be entranced by a sound and light show with different types of Quinkan spirits that will lurk around the dance ground – watching and waiting while we hear the sounds of black and white cockatoos, clap sticks, the dingo and curlews in the background. Join us for a truly unique event on the banks of the Endeavour River followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
