Cosmogony: Between the Human and the Primordial

Exhibition of the plastic artist Erick Sommet in the gallery of Estudio Creativo

This exhibition proposes a journey to the roots of the human through three series that dialogue with each other. The sculptures of Cosmogonía recover mythical archetypes and reconfigure them in a contemporary language. The Matrix Mundi places the body at the epicenter of the tension between form and dissolution, in vibrant canvases that evoke violence and regeneration.

For its part, I Am So Different confronts the alienation and theatricality of the modern ego through a raw and expressive graphic.

Together, the works compose a story that does not look to the past, but questions the present, inviting the viewer to reflect on the fragility, identity and primordial force that inhabits us.

This work will participate in Visions – London and Contemporary Venice 17th Edition, two of the most important international contemporary art platforms.

Each work is an exploration of the human between the cosmos and the earth, between the visible and the invisible. Thank you for being part of this path and for supporting art that seeks to transcend borders.
