At Y Camp, the possibilities are endless! Y Summer Camps provide children and teens with supervised activities that cultivate values, develop skills, nurture relationships, and actively explore children’s imagination.

At camp, you can create YOUR ideal summer experience. Our wide variety of programs provides something for everyone! Give your kids the chance to have fun, improve their health, learn new things, and reach their potential.

Our Day Camps are located at various schools across the San Luis Obispo County to best accomodate our SLO families. Each camp is packed with adventure and learning opportunities over the summer!

EPACT ONLINE FORMS

You will receive an ePACT welcome email after April 15. Simply click the link in the ePACT welcome email and complete your registration pack conveniently online! EPACT must be completed before campers can participate in any YMCA programs.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Financial Assistance is available to those who qualify. Applications are available at the front desk or online at ciymca.org/financial-assistance. The deadline to apply is May 22.

TRAILBLAZERS CAMP (Ages 4 - 6)

Adventure starts here! Trailblazers is a summer camp designed for young explorers to learn, play, and discover. Each week features a new theme packed with exciting activities—from animal encounters and aquarium wonders to visits from community partners. Campers will enjoy hands-on experiences, make new friends, and create lasting memories in a safe, fun environment. To make the experience even more exciting, campers will enjoy one on-site adventure each week, bringing the theme to life in an unforgettable way.

ADVENTURE CAMP (Ages 7 - 12)

This summer, the adventure begins the moment you arrive! Each week unlocks a brand-new theme filled with hands-on challenges, creative discoveries, and plenty of outdoor fun. Campers will dive into exciting on-site activities and set out on one epic field trip every week — because adventure doesn’t stop at the gate. From exploring nature to tackling team challenges, every day is a chance to discover something amazing and make memories that stick. Your next great adventure is waiting!

Big fun for our littlest campers! Each week brings a playful theme with age-appropriate crafts, colorful art projects, and games that keep kids smiling and engaged. On-site adventures make every day feel special, while caring staff ensure a safe, happy environment for learning and laughter. It’s the perfect way for our littles to explore, create, and enjoy summer to the fullest!

COUNSELORS IN TRAINING (Ages 13 - 17)

All Camp Locations Weeks 3 - 6: June 22 - July 17 (Training Week 2)

The Counselor in Training (C.I.T.) Program gives youth the opportunity to build leadership skills while supporting YMCA Camp programs. Participants are selected through an interview process and will assist counselors with daily activities, participate in service-learning projects, and help plan and lead camp events. C.I.T.s will gain hands-on experience in teamwork and communication while earning volunteer hours. All participants must attend mandatory C.I.T. training the week of June 15–18 to participate in the summer program.

EXPLORE ā€˜N’ SPLASH CAMP (Ages 4 - 12)

This camp is perfect for kids who love adventure and water fun! Campers will enjoy 1–2 pool days each week, exciting on-site adventures with special guest programs like Zoo to You, Cali Kids, Mad Scientists, and visits from local first responders. Scavenger hunts and hands-on activities keep every day full of discovery, teamwork, and excitement. This camp blends learning, movement, and splashy fun into one unforgettable summer experience!

CAMP ON THE GO (Ages 7 - 12)

We’re on the move! Each week, campers will set out on exciting field trips 3 - 4 days a week, discovering new places and experiences that make summer unforgettable. From hands-on activities to games and creative challenges, every day is packed with opportunities to explore, learn, and have fun. If your child loves discovery and adventure, this is the camp for them!

DANCE CAMP (Ages 4 - 12)

Baywood Elementary School • 1330 9th St, Los Osos

Week 8: July 27 - 31, 9am - 4pm

$235/week

This high-energy camp gives aspiring dancers the perfect place to shine! Campers will receive guided instruction in choreographed dance, and the fundamentals of different styles of dance in a fun, supportive environment. Throughout the week, they’ll work together to build skills, boost confidence, and master a routine that will be performed for families and fellow campers at the end of each session. Get ready to twirl, leap, and dance your heart out! There will be a performance at the end of the week to showcase all the fun they had.

All aboard for a summer of creativity and discovery! Campers will dive into hands-on projects that bring science, technology, engineering, art, and math to life. From building and experimenting to designing in our Mak er Space, every day is packed with opportunities to create, explore, and innovate. With exciting challenges and imaginative activities, this camp is where ideas turn into amazing adventures!

Get ready for the ultimate mix of messy fun and mind-blowing science! Campers will create gooey, colorful slime and dive into exciting experiments thatĀ fizz, pop, and boom (safely, of course!). Each day is packed with hands-on activities that spark curiosity and laughter—because science is way more fun whenĀ it’sĀ explosive!

Get ready for an artistic adventure around the world! Campers will explore and discover the elements of art as they rotate through exciting hands-on activities like drawing, painting, clay-making, and so much more. Throughout the week, they’ll learn the history behind different art techniques and discover which cultures still use them today. To cap off the week, families are invited to enjoy our Friday Art Show, where campers can proudly showcase their masterpieces!

SLEEPAWAY CAMP

YOUTH OVERNIGHT CAMP (JULY 19 - 24)

Teen: Ages 13 - 16 Fee: $1,010

At Sleepaway Camp at Lake Sequoia, the adventure never stops! Campers stay in cabins at night and spend their days immersed in nature, enjoying activities like hiking, sports, crafts, and water recreation. They’ll return home with new friends and an adventurous spirit.

CIT CAMP Age 17 Fee: $505

The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program helps teens develop the skills needed to become camp counselors and strong employees. This program offers a unique opportunity to build leadership skills by assisting counselors with younger campers and gaining hands-on experience in a camp setting.

CITs are chosen through an application and interview process, with space limited to 10 participants. To apply, teens must register online and pay a camp deposit. If not selected, the YMCA will refund the deposit.

Transportation to Youth Overnight Camp departs from Ventura Family YMCA, 3760 Telegraph Road, Ventura, CA 93003. A $250 deposit is required at time of registration.

FAMILY CAMP SEQUOIA

(AUGUST 1 - 7)

Join us for a week-long family adventure packed with fun and new experiences! Enjoy activities like hiking, swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, fishing, paddle boarding, campfires, or simply relaxing with a good book.

The package includes six nights of lodging, meals, morning kids’ camps, arts and crafts, the YMCA Rag Program, and more. Pricing covers accommodations and activities for up to four family members.

Families will drive themselves to Family Camp at 49716 Highway 180, Miramonte, CA 93641. A $450 deposit is required at time of registration.

YMCA Summer Camp is ACA accredited! ACA Accreditation means that your child’s summer camp cares enough to undergo a thorough peer review of its operation — from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. American Camp Association collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at your child’s camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. We will utilize theĀ BLASTING INTO SUMMER curriculum at all of our Day Camp locations this summer. This licensed program combines learning, adventure, and fun and ensures that campers have an unforgettable camp experience that ignites their passions, fosters personal growth, and creates lifelong memories. The building blocks of the BLASTING curriculum include: Belonging, Literacy, Arts, STEM, Team-Building, Imagination, Nature and Gross Motor Activities. Camp Staff have selected various BLASTING modules to accompany our fun camp themes.
