Life-Changing Programs, Lasting Impact

At six years old, Raleigh is making a splash in his YMCA Learn to Swim class. What began as a quest for water safety has turned into a passion for swimming. His mom loves that this is the one class he’s always excited to attend and Raleigh’s energy is contagious! When he first started, Raleigh couldn’t swim at all, but now he’s swimming on his own and working on his technique. His mom is thrilled with his progress and how much more confident he’s become in the water. Raleigh’s favorite parts? Jumping in the pool and making new friends! With summer around the corner, Raleigh is ready for more water adventures, from pool play to beach trips. His mom is grateful for the Y’s program, which not only teaches essential life skills but also boosts his confidence and independence. It’s been a perfect fit for Raleigh and his family couldn’t be happier with his progress!
