M A K I N G M U S I C @ THE ORIGINAL EUMUNDI MARKETS IN this topsy turvy world of uncertainty, there is one dependable element that brings us all peace, stillness, harmony, reflection, and joy. That element is a gift we give ourselves, and the gift we give to one other - music. For Richard Goldsworthy, music has been the constant source of inspiration and passion in his life since studying classical piano as a young child. “My birthplace was Cairns in the tropical north, where I spent my early childhood in the tiny rainforest village of Kuranda”, said Richard. “Studying classical piano through my childhood, I then began composing as

a teenager. I released my first album, ‘Firelight Moon’ in 1992. Returning to my native North Queensland inspired two more albums, ‘Magic Happens’ and ‘Hidden Dancers’. In 2004/5 I spent several months travelling and performing in Japan. It was in these mystical lands I composed my album ‘Silk’. From there I went on to compose music on the Hawaiian Islands and in the Arizona Desert. This journey led to my album ‘Lifted’ which I released in 2011.” For Richard’s full story head to eumundimarkets.com.au.
