Letter from the Board President Hello Neighbors, As I’m writing this, it’s finally warm outside, the flowers are blooming, grass is greening and pollen is in the air, so it must be springtime at beautiful Wexford! Not there yet, but much better – This time last year we we had weekly meetings to adjust our operations to the ever-changing Covid situation. Communities everywhere were trying to figure out the best way to deal with this worldwide situation that caught us all off-guard. A year later it was truly a pleasure to see a great turnout of Wexford neighbors enjoying each other’s company at our first Thursday Happy Hour in almost a year on March 25. It was outside at our still-new pool complex instead of inside the clubhouse as before, but the weather was perfect, the beverages flowed freely and good times had by all. We know we have a way to go before we get back to whatever “normal” will be going forward, but it’s great just to see our Wexford family having fun as a group again. To allow us to continue these group events, we ask that folks comply with the local health regulations as they evolve. Irrigation Project is Complete – The completion of the golf course irrigation project was celebrated on Friday, March 26 with the presentation of the “Golden Sprinkler” award to our Greens and Grounds Superintendent Chris Neff. This occasion was celebrated with a ceremonial sprinkler salute along the first fairway. Thanks to Chris, Ryan Spence and all that helped to bring this major project to completion a few weeks ahead of schedule and around $150,000 under budget. Good job by all. An Upgrade for Pickleball – Many of us have enjoyed being introduced to the game of pickleball on our temporary courts that were set up at the tennis center. The Board of Directors approved plans for development of 4 high quality pickleball courts adjacent to tennis courts 3 and 4. The project is discussed in more detail,

including rendering of the future courts and clubhouse entrance relocation, elsewhere in this edition of Club Times. Pool Complex Dining is on the way – This year’s budget included installation of kitchen equipment at the popular pool bar and that equipment has been ordered with plans being made for installation soon. Our Food and Beverage staff is busy developing a new menu for pool side dining with delicious items that can be prepared on site at the pool bar and additional staff dedicated to service at the pool area will be there to take care of your food and beverage wishes. Watch for announcements as we get close to opening this service. And lastly, our management and staff are busy planning fun summer activities to enjoy here at Wexford so I look forward to seeing many of you at a fun event very soon.

All the best,

David

COVID SAFETY As we continue to face the challenges of COVID-19 cases, the Club’s safety protocols remain a top priority. It is important to reiterate the importance of our required COVID-19 policies: • Maintain social distance, wash hands and sanitize surfaces frequently.

• Self and household isolate if you, or someone in your house, tests positive or has known exposure.

• Face masks are required by everyone within the Clubhouse and all common areas, even with a vaccine or antibodies.
