Visit East of England

Visit East of England manages the VisitEngland-accredited Suffolk and Norfolk Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) and also runs Visit Norfolk and Visit Suffolk. East Anglia, recently nominated one of the 10 best destinations to visit in the world by Lonely Planet, is made up of the 'North folk' and the 'South folk' of the East Angles and is a region rich in history, from the invading Romans and Anglo Saxons to Vikings and the Normans, and then The Friendly Invasion from 1942-45 when more than 350,000 North Americans were based here as part of the US Eighth Air Force. Remnants of them all are here to be explored.
