23 November 2015 Meeting
Present: Neil Terry, Lisa Pollitt, Sue Wright, Sue Miller, Gillian Rimmer, Rachael Cahill, Debra Carr Christmas Fair School Calendars are here and will be sold by Amanda Crowther at the Fair Santa’a Grotto will be done on Thursday after school. Thanks to Mrs Jones for providing new fabric. Mrs Cox has made beautiful hampers again. Mr Terry needs 3 long tables for his stall. Fairtrade Hamper -Miss Brookes has prepared this and School Council will sell tickets on the night. Text reminder re bringing in toys/books/etc and sending raffle ticket stubs & money back to school. Gifts for Mum & Dad are all done-Mrs Pollitt and Mrs Adamson on this stall. Mrs Wright has bought gift bags for this stall. We may need some more. Christmas Cups are all done-thank you Adult Tombola will come together on Friday as the bottles arrive. Year 3 children asked to bring sweets instead of a bottle to boost the Sweets Tombola. Champagne flutes- 1 box got, Mrs Miller to visit Morrisons to buy 3 more. Bran Tub will be called ‘Santa’s Sack’ Mr Pollitt/Mr Smethurst will run this. Treasure Hunt –sticks have been found-Game to be made more ‘Christmassy’ Angry Birds-Mr Middleton Flashing Toys- Mr Connor/ Mrs Stafford Name the Reindeer-Mrs Smith will donate one Gifts, Reindeer food, Santa’s Sack in the hall. Mrs Miller to get Christmas pencils as prizes. Raffle-Lots of prizes-more to come in. Thanks to everyone who has donated and to Mrs Pollitt and Mrs Wright who have sourced many prizes from local businesses. Mr Chadwick has agreed to collect the leftover goods in his van and take to a charity shop. Many thanks. Huge thanks to everyone for all their time and hard work towards our Christmas Fair.
