Creating opportunities for students to elevate and flourish

mjones@redeemer.com.au

Junior Tech is a two-year co-curricular program that introduces students to robotics and coding through fun, hands-on learning. Using tools like Root iRobot, LEGO WeDo, SPIKE Prime, and Sprite Lab, students build programming skills and explore key concepts like sequencing, branching, and iteration preparing them for advanced programs and FIRST LEGO League competitions.

Next Tech is a hands-on co-curricular program where students advance their coding skills by creating interactive games with Scratch. Building on prior knowledge, they explore variables, events, loops, and conditionals while developing creativity, problem-solving, and logical thinking.

Redeemer Robotics is one of the pinnacles of our Elevate program, offering students in Years 5–7 the chance to compete in the exciting FIRST LEGO League Challenge competition. In teams, students design, build, and program robots to tackle real-world science and engineering problems. With the energy of a sporting event, this competition fosters teamwork, innovation, and lifelong skills —all while having a blast!
