Call For Papers
Panteon is an anachronistic venture: anachronistic is the content, anachronistic is the product, anachronistic is its use.
Anachronism is the topic of issue #0.
The protagonist is the architecture of the city of Rome, all built between 1911 and 1989 within the
Manifesto

Let us now imagine Rome as a mental entity, not a habitat fit for humanity.
Panteon was born in this way.
It is a systematic investigation, collected on papers that taste of the 20th-century.
Panteon asks the questions, while the answers emerge from the Roman environment.
The architecture analyzed is scattered in the tangle of this large city, in which all the different styles - old and new - exist and mingle together.
We are convinced we’ll be able to reveal elements that are still untold, investigating an apparently measurable horizon: 1911-1989.
Like a team of haruspices, we’ll interpret the guts of Rome, following real or hypothetical issues and urgencies.
Disguised as anachronistic, Panteon’s action is, in fact, now - the only possible time.

The advent of new media acts upon the way the city is introduced to its citizens. In this paper, we study the urban future through the extended use of Locative Media and sentiment recognition technologies that seek to reshape spatial perception. While visioning a multi-layered interaction with and within the built space, there is no other way but to imagine a new interaction with urban space through the eyes of others. An ever expanding platform of experiences, able to enrich the city with symbolic meaning and transform space into the narrator of city life is manifested.
