HOW OUR STORY BEGAN

OFF THE FIELD OVERVIEW

OTF is the official NFL Wives Association, comprised solely of the wives and significant others of active and retired NFL players. As a 501(c)(3) organization, OTF is committed to fostering and developing sisterhood while serving NFL communities through philanthropic efforts.

Off the Field NFL Wives Association (“OTF”) began as an act of service and has grown to a powerful community of game changers.The inaugural Players' Wives Fashion Show Brunch &Tea, benefiting Habitat for Humanity, was born in 2002 in the heart of New Orleans during Super Bowl XXXVI.The fashion designer who hosted the event was Max Nugus, who was a couture designer to celebrity wives across the United States. Most of the wives has a closet full of his designs so they modeled from their personal wardrobe. Over two decades later, what started as an humble fashion show is now a marquee event during the Super Bowl, and a catalyst for impact across 32 NFL cities.

For over 20 years, we have empowered women, served our communities, and worked to improve the lives of NFL families. From honoring the leadership qualities of women in Super Bowl host cities who have made remarkable strides to improve the lives of women and children through the presentation ofThe OffThe Field Woman of Impact Award and The Danielle Beverly Courage Award, to our national Swim Campaign and support of women and girls in sports, OTF continues to use its influence to empower women and create positive change.

Our NFL experiences as wives and significant others are incredibly diverse and impactful, ranging from the excitement of game days to the challenges of supporting a partner in a demanding career. Our biggest contribution has been facilitating connections among NFL wives to create a supportive community where experiences, challenges, and joys are shared.

EVENT OVERVIEW

The annual Off The Field NFL Wives Association Super Bowl Charity Fashion Show is a full-production event featuring the wives and significant others of current and retired NFL players walking the runway as they showcase the latest fashions and raise funds for a local charity.

In New Orleans, 2002, Super Bowl XXXVI marked the inaugural Players Wives Fashion Show event. Since then, the Off The Field NFL Wives Association (OTF) Fashion Show has grown to become a marquee event of Super Bowl Week, a sold-out experience, and a media sensation. The fashion show, now recognized by the National Football League as an officially sanctioned event, continues to be one of the most highly anticipated events during the Super Bowl, attracting women from all walks of life. The Off The Field Players Wives Association, officially chartered in 2006, has not only supported over 50 charities but also donated over $1 million dollars to various organizations. The impact and sisterhood generated from this idea are truly priceless.

PURPOSE OF THE CHARITY FASHION SHOW

This event was created to support local and national charities supported by Off The Field. The charity fashion show strives to honor Off The Field's philanthropic mission by creating a unique football-related signature fundraising event to be held in honor of the Super Bowl.

The 2026 charity fashion show will honor and pay tribute to the leadership qualities of women in the San Francisco Bay Area who have made remarkable strides in improving the lives of women and children.

In addition, the 2026 charity fashion show will raise funds to support this year ’ s beneficiaries.

OFF THE FIELD AWARDS

Each year, Off The Field recognizes inspirational members from our organization and impactful community leaders from the Super Bowl Host City, through the presentation of “The Danielle Beverly Courage Award,” “The Off The Field Woman of Impact Award,” and “The Ericka Lassiter Service Award.”

The Danielle Beverly Courage Award – awarded to an individual who personifies an incredible amount of strength and determination. This award is named after Danielle Beverly, a courageous member of Off The Field who battled and beat breast cancer four times.

The Off The Field Woman of Impact Award – awarded to an individual who has shown continued dedication to causes committed to community service and philanthropy.

The Ericka Lassiter Service Award - awarded to an OTF member in recognition of their exceptional dedication and outstanding service to Off The Field, consistently demonstrating commitment to excellence and making significant contributions to our organization.

The Off The Field NFL Wives Association has partnered with the NBA wives Association in the American Heart Association to help make sport accessible to all girls. We are launching in nine NFL, WNBA, NBA site locations by 2028 Olympic games to host a basketball clinic and for giveaways to help address any barriers for girls participating in sports.

The Off The Field NFL Wives Association, in collaboration with the American Heart Association, is committed to making softball more accessible for girls across the country. As part of our broader mission to promote health, confidence, and equity in sports, we are launching in three NFL market cities leading up to the 2028 Olympic Games. These activations will include youth softball clinics and equipment giveaways designed to eliminate barriers to participation ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to get in the game and thrive, both on and off the field.
