Background: Thirroul is a large seaside suburb in northern Wollongong located on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. It is approximately 16 kms from Wollongong and 71 kms from Sydney. It is well-known for its natural landscape - providing the perfect summer getaways, cafes, and restaurants, with almost an ‘inner city’ ambience. The south coast railway line runs through the Thirroul town centre and divides it into two distinct centres: North and South. The first part of this project, the site study, focuses on an 800m section of Lawrence Hargrave Drive (LHD), part of the popular Grand Pacific Tourist Drive running 19.8kms from Stanwell Tops in the north to Bulli in the South.

Year: 2021
