Aman to launch first superyacht

Aman’s nine-deck superyacht, Amangati, is taking bookings for its debut season of Mediterranean voyages in Q2 2027.

The 180-metre yacht has been designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design and is currently under construction.

When it sets sail, it will accommodate 94 guests across its 47 suites. Each will have a footprint of 68sq m to 354sq m and its own terrace.

The design for the Aman Spa has been inspired by Japanese ryokan, with full-height windows and private terraces that create an open, light-filled space and connection to the sea.

The 1,190sq m spa will be spread across two decks and it will have eight ocean-facing

treatment rooms and a Japanese serenity garden for relaxation.

There will also be open-air hot tubs, a hammam with polished marble benches for Turkish and Moroccan-inspired bathing experiences, a banya, showers and relaxation spaces.

Treatments will be rooted in four guiding pillars: nutrition, movement, psychological health and bodywork. Passengers will have access to a medi-spa for aesthetic services, a beauty lounge, fitness studio and a meditation and yoga deck.

Addressing women's health could unlock $100bn by 2030 in the US

The World Economic Forum has released a report to address the undercapitalised opportunities women’s health represents within global healthcare.

The report, Women’s Health Investment Outlook, includes a recent analysis by management consultancy Boston Consulting Group that found treating four major conditions that affect women disproportionately could unlock a US$100 billion economic impact (€92 billion, £79 billion) by 2030 in the US alone.

The four conditions that affect women uniquely or require womenspecific approaches are identified

RESEARCH

in the report as cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, menopause and Alzheimer’s. These are highburden, high-prevalence health issues that remain underserved.

The authors highlight that despite women representing half the global population, women’s healthcare captures only six per cent of private healthcare investment. Companies focused exclusively on women’s health capture less than one per cent.

Ninety per cent of investment remains collectively concentrated in reproductive health, maternal care and women-specific cancers. MORE >>> http://lei.sr/5r3c2_B

Journeys are now more intentional and often seen as a form of healing
Lindsay Madden-Nadeau, senior director of wellness, Red Sea Global

From pampering to purpose

Lindsay

Madden-Nadeau says wellness travel is evolving for holistic living

H■ Corallium, a marine life attraction, is one of the naturefocused facilities at Amaala

aving spent more than 25 years in the wellness industry, I’ve witnessed and actively shaped its evolution. What began with destination spas as the dominant offering – occasionally complemented by holistic retreats or medical health programmes – has matured into something far more sophisticated.

Today, wellness has expanded well beyond retreat-based experiences into global communities, longevity hubs and

integrated lifestyle ecosystems that can be embedded into everyday life.

At its core, wellness has never been one-size-fits-all. I’ve always viewed it as a deeply personal experience, shaped by culture, generation and life stage.

Different moments in our lives require different tools from the wellness ‘toolbox’ and while emotional, spiritual, physical and intellectual wellbeing provide a useful framework, true wellness does not conform.

A new urgency

What has changed most dramatically is urgency. Relentless digital connectivity, chronic stress and lifestyle-related health challenges have shifted wellbeing towards being essential. This is especially evident among Millennials and Gen Zers, for whom stress reduction and living longer healthier lives are non-negotiables embedded in their generational DNA.

Travellers today increasingly seek rest and restoration through nature, gravitating

towards destinations such as Greece, Australia, Switzerland, Thailand and Costa Rica, where philosophies such as Pura Vida reflect a holistic approach to living well.

This shift has redefined the reason people travel. Journeys are more intentional and often seen as a form of healing. Yoga retreats, active adventures and spiritual exploration are consciously curated across multiple dimensions of wellbeing, often favoured over party-centric destinations. Personal growth has become a modern-day luxury with data to support this trend.

More choice in one location

Red Sea Global was founded on the belief that wellness thrives within regenerative tourism ecosystems that are grounded in sustainability. Wellness is part of our DNA, informing decisions across property, product, talent and experiences. We're creating comprehensive wellness ecosystems that integrate medical, holistic and lifestyle-led programmes, supported by worldclass infrastructure, technology and expertise.

Ultimately, what

makes wellness transformative is the people delivering it

With six wellness operators across two destinations and four more in development, we’re delivering depth, choice and accessibility in one location for today’s time-poor traveller. At the destination level, Amaala brings this ambition to life. Set where the Hijaz Mountains meet the Red Sea, Amaala uses nature in a healing journey that dates back to the wellbeing traditions of the people of the land. Partnerships with Clinique La Prairie, Jayasom and Equinox intentionally span the full spectrum of wellness, from clinical longevity to mindful balance and high-performance living. Ultimately, what makes wellness transformative is the people delivering it. Through their passion, combined with place and intent, wellness travel continues to evolve from retreat, to ecosystem, to way of life. ●

Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski enters a new chapter, in partnership with Italian regenerative health experts

We're creating a unique destination for longevity in the heart of the Alps ■
will provide accommodation for guests taking part in the IRI's longevity programmes

Grand Hotel des Bains

Kempinski St Moritz, in Switzerland, has partnered with regenerative medicine provider Image Regenerative Institute (IRI) to enhance its spa and wellness offering.

The IRI is run by professor Carlo Tremolada, whose specialism is regenerative medicine. The IRI in St Moritz is a sister location to Tremolada’s Image Regenerative Clinic in Milan, Italy.

The Lipogems system

Tremoloada is known for inventing his Lipogems system; a concept that uses fat as though it is a regenerative organ. Lipogems is a technology that involves taking a patient’s own fat tissue, processing it in a closed sterile device and injecting the tissue back into an injured or damaged area to heal it.

The processed tissue, known as micro-fragmented adipose tissue, is rich in regenerative components and is seen as a better alternative by some for the treatment of sports injuries, osteoarthritis, chronic nonhealing wounds and reconstructive plastic surgery. The advantages of the therapy are that it uses the patient’s

own tissue, the procedure can be done quickly and there is a minimal regulatory burden because no enzymes or chemicals are required.

The Image Regenerative Institute

The IRI has opened in a dedicated wing of a neighbouring private hospital called Klinik Gut, a fourminute walk from the hotel. The hotel is the primary hospitality partner for the medical destination. The properties are part of the same architectural complex and there are plans to create direct internal access for guests in the future.

Norman Zweyer, marketing manager, Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski told Spa Business: “By bringing professor Tremolada’s pioneering medical expertise and the Image Regenerative Institute to the doorsteps of the Grand

Hotel des Bains Kempinski, we're creating a unique destination for longevity in the heart of the Alps.”

The facility has medical consultation suites and specialised treatment rooms for regenerative therapies, such as metabolic resets, detoxification and bioenergetic recalibrations.

Treatments

The Institute will offer bespoke 3 to 5-day longevity programmes, focused on detoxification, metabolism and stress recovery. These will be residential wellness packages, where guests stay at the Kempinski hotel.

In addition to multi-day immersions, the Institute will offer daily integrative medicine sessions with therapies involving bioresonance, cupping and personalised IV infusions. ●

The spa will have four single treatment beds and a shower each, as well as one double treatment room with a shower, sauna and steamroom.

The thermal facilities will include a sauna, infrared sauna, steamroom, ice room and a snow shower.

Elemis launches Pro-Collagen Hydrating Cleansing Mousse

British skincare company

Elemis has released its new Pro-Collagen Hydrating Cleansing Mousse.

The brand has created this mousse because it says traditional cleansers in this format leave the skin feeling dry and tight.

The new formula contains a trio of hydrating ingredients to provide a lightweight product to remove impurities, make-up and SPF without drying the skin.

These ingredients include Padina pavonica ferment, a brown fan-shaped algae found on the

Mediterranean coast. This organism has a high polysaccharide and glycosaminoglycan content to help attract and retain moisture. These properties have been incorporated into the mousse via a fermentation process.

Deep sea water sourced from Noirmoutier Island, France, is another of the ingredients in the new cleanser, enriched with minerals.

Inulin, a natural prebiotic extracted from the European plant known as chicory root, is also incorporated into the mousse for its hydrating properties.

Noella Gabriel, CEO and co-founder, Elemis, said: “This is a high-performance cleanser that deeply cleanses and hydrates without stripping the skin or disrupting its delicate microflora.”

Technology Meets Touch:

Comfort Zone Introduces a New Era of Beauty, reports Monica Poli

The professional beauty sector is rapidly evolving, and the next generation of spa excellence is increasingly defined by data-driven diagnosis and multi-technology facial rejuvenation. Responding to this shift, Italian skincare brand Comfort Zone, expands its technology portfolio with two breakthroughs designed to elevate professional expertise, deliver measurable results, and enhance consumer trust: Skin Test 2.0 and Longevilift.

Data-driven personalisation

Understanding skin in its full complexity is the foundation of an effective treatment journey.

Skin Test 2.0 is a new diagnostic device that performs rapid but effective measurements through high-definition imaging, touch-screen navigation and an intuitive user interface.

The device analyses hydration, sebum, elasticity, texture, pigmentation, pores, redness and wrinkles, generating a complete skin profile in just 15 minutes.

Five targeted analysis areas, face, décolleté, hands, legs, and sun exposure, allow therapists to create protocols, supported by a

digital report delivered instantly via QR code for product and treatment follow-up at home.

The system also enables long-term progress-tracking, reinforcing loyalty and boosting retail conversion through visible results.

Skin Test 2.0 is not only a tool for evaluation, it’s a catalyst for education, professional authority and deeper client engagement. By connecting consumer needs, lifestyle habits and measurable parameters, the device supports spas in delivering a 360° evidencebased wellness experience.

Longevilift – skin redefinition

Once the skin diagnosis is complete, Longevilift becomes a natural next step in the treatment pathway. This multifunctional machine delivers a four-in-one high-tech facial, combining Aquapeel, Vacuum, Mesoporation, and Microcurrent technologies to detoxify, smooth, brighten and tone, working simultaneously on the muscular, vascular and neurological dimensions of the skin.

Clinical testing confirms visible improvements after a single session, including +47 per cent immediate hydration and +22 per cent elasticity*,

Longevilift was designed to meet the growing demand for advanced skincare treatments.

Monica Poli, skin tech and device product manager, Comfort Zone

with 100 per cent of participants also self-reporting smoother, more radiant skin.

Suitable for mature, resistant and sensitive skin alike, the treatment offers a non-invasive alternative to more aggressive rejuvenation methods that’s aligning with the growing global preference for results-driven, yet gentle, solutions. Together, Skin Test 2.0 and Longevilift represent a new standard in integrated, intelligent skincare. For spas, they offer something invaluable: technology that enhances human touch rather than replaces it, powering personalisation, performance and repeatable results. More: www.comfortzoneskin.com
