Homework Centre

Homework Centre

During the week, the School runs a Homework Centre for Year 7 to Year 12 situated in the Mary Agnes O’Neil Library. Students are able to work in small groups with teachers and tutors, specialising in a range of subjects to support them in their learning and assist with their homework, organisation, assignment preparation and approaches to studying for tests and examinations.

There is no charge for Homework Centre support which runs Monday to Thursday from 3.30pm to 6.00pm for day students and continues into the evening until 8.00pm for boarders.

Homework Centre supervision in the Mary Agnes O’Neil Library is also available to Year 5 and Year 6 students from 3.30pm to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday. Students are supervised by Barat-Burn staff who are able to support them in the completion of their home learning tasks.

To support Year 12 students in the lead-up to trial and final HSC examinations, the Mary Agnes O’Neil Library is open for study weeks, incorporating subject workshops and practice exam sessions.
