John Lithgow stars in “Trial & Error,” premiering Tuesday on NBC.

BY JAY BOBBIN
J ohn Lithgow has been seen making a murderer before, but a new spoof of true-crime shows poses the question, “Is he or isn’t he?”
The five-time Emmy winner for projects including “3rd Rock From the Sun” – honored recently with a Screen Actors Guild Award for his Winston Churchill portrayal in Netflix’s “The Crown” – returns to series duty in NBC’s sitcom “Trial & Error,” premiering with back-to-back episodes Tuesday, March 14. Previously lethal as the Trinity Killer on “Dexter,” Lithgow now plays smalltown poetry professor Larry Henderson, suspected of slaying his wife ... which draws murder-case-novice Josh Segal (Nicholas D’Agosto, “Gotham”), an attorney from New York, to South Carolina to defend him. The lawyer doesn’t get much help from his client, whose quirks only make him look increasingly culpable of the crime.
Sherri Shepherd (“The View”) and Steven Boyer (“Orange Is the New Black”) play Segal’s assistants, though their “help” often is questionable, and “Glee” alum Jayma Mays co-stars as a prosecutor eager to send Henderson up the river. The suspect’s daughter (Krysta Rodriguez, “Smash”) and Segal develop a romantic interest in each other, complicating the case even more.
Filmed in the style of a documentary, “Trial & Error” appealed to Lithgow from the start. “I loved the whole idea,” the pleasant actor, musician and children’sbook author says. “It was so completely original. I mean, primetime true-crime documentary series were completely teed up for a great satire, a great parody. Nobody has done this yet, and it was brilliantly written. And I loved the challenge of playing a part who at any given moment could completely, plausibly have committed or not committed
this crime. This seemed to me a wonderful kind of magic trick to pull off, and I love challenges like that.
“They created a character for which this trick can work,” adds Lithgow. “He’s completely driven by his id. It’s completely unedited. He has no sense of priority or proportion. The tiniest things have absolutely as much importance to him as the crime of murder, and you see it in the very first moment of the series, in that 911 call. The cable guy and the death of his wife are equal emergencies. This is the stuff of just fantastic comedy, very much like Dick Solomon in ‘3rd Rock from the Sun.’ He was driven by his id, too, and yet they are very, very different characters.”
“Trial & Error” creator and executive producer Jeff Astrof (“Ground Floor,” “The New Adventures of Old Christine”) explains that a murder-trial documentary titled “The Staircase” was the inspiration for the new show, and Warner Bros.

Television suggested partnering him with drama-series veteran Matt Miller (“Lethal Weapon,” “Forever”).
“The two of us, it was a match made in Hebrew school,” Astrof muses. “The timing was really great, because right at the time everybody was watching ‘The Jinx’ and ‘Serial.’ And we had handed in our script, and that’s when ‘Making a Murderer’ came out. And we were just like, ‘If we don’t do this now, someone else is going to do it.”’
Lithgow says he and his current colleagues all have “their own particular version of the ‘Trial & Error’ sense of humor. We just make each other laugh like crazy all the time. My favorite work has been in great ensembles, and this goes with theater and television and even film, where half the time you never even meet the people you are acting with. One thing I absolutely love about acting is the community spirit of it.”

‘SUPERGIRL’: WHO’S THE WORSE BOYFRIEND, MON-EL OR MXYZPTLK?
Kara (Melissa Benoist) had her plate full with dudes eager to date her on “Supergirl,” but we’re honestly not sure which of them is the worse option.
Obviously Mxyzptlk (Peter Gadiot) presents some serious danger for, well, everyone since his magical dimensionbending powers allow him to create endless possibilities for mayhem. From giant crystal monsters and resurrected parasite aliens, Mxyzptlk’s proclivity for violence and destruction is a pretty serious flaw. Plus, he pulled out the whole “nasty woman” thing, which is an instant turnoff. Ick.
Luckily, Kara recognized the many pitfalls of a potential relationship with the fifth dimensional being and immediately put Mxyzptlk on the “do not date” list.
Mon-El (Chris Wood), however, escaped the list despite some seriously bad behavior.
First there was the seething jealousy, then he felt the sudden urge to “defend Kara’s honor” – and last but not least, he stole from the DEO in an attempt to kill Mxyzptlk. Mon-El just doesn’t seem to be cut from the same heroic cloth as Kara, which is a huge issue for them to tackle.
Mon-El’s track record on Daxam (from what we know so far) doesn’t paint him in the best light, and his time on Earth has shown us a mixed bag of good and bad behavior. He doesn’t seem to want to be good because it’s the right thing to do, he wants it because it’s what Kara expects from him. Hmm....
Still, despite Mon-El’s many (many, many, many) failings, Kara’s boundless optimism must be rubbing off on us, because we do genuinely see opportunity for growth here. Mon-El’s feelings for Kara have opened up his world in a lot of ways. He might have a lot of work to do – we can start with his tendency to beg for forgiveness rather than ask for permission – but he’s already starting to spot his own flaws, which is the first step to fixing any problem.
And yeah, we admit it... That kiss was pretty swoon-worthy.
We can only hope that whatever mess seems to be following Mon-El through the galaxy won’t wreck the progress he’s trying to make on Earth.
“Supergirl” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

As a co-owner of The Calling wines, CBS sportscaster Jim Nantz is adamant that his name not appear on the bottle. He would rather the product speak for itself.
“I’ve done my research,” says Nantz, whose late winter schedule shifts into high gear this week when the 2017 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament gets going Tuesday, March 14, and airs for the next three weeks on truTV, TBS, TNT and CBS. “If you’re known for anything in the wine business outside of producing wine, your odds of being successful are extremely long. And I’m not doing this as a vanity play. I’m doing this to try to create something that’s special, unique and lasting. ... I’m in it to try to create something that I can pass on to my kids and one day people say The Calling is one of the great brands of American wine.”
Nantz’s love of wine is really a product of his lifestyle. As someone who spends a lot of time on the road covering college basketball, the NFL, golf and tennis, he has access to some of the finest restaurants in the country, their sommeliers and their wine. It is from that that the 57-year-old Northern California resident developed an appreciation of the grape. He started The Calling with his partner, Peter Deutsch, in 2009 and the company put out its first vintage three years later. Now in 2017, The Calling cabernet, chardonnay, pinot noir and red blend is in about 5,000 restaurants nationally and counting, thanks in no small part to Nantz’s efforts to spread the word about the product that has become his passion.
“It’s not a category in my life,” he says. “It’s a true passion and it’s something that I’m involved in with every single decision that’s made, from where we source our wine, our production, to the hiring of our winemaker to the label and our marketing plan. ... I spend a great amount of time pouring over details,

What book are you currently reading?
“I just got a book called ‘Three Days in January’ about Dwight Eisenhower’s final mission, written by Brett Baier. He ... gave me a copy of his book and I’m looking forward to reading about President Eisenhower. Presidential history really interests me. ...”
What did you have for dinner last night?
“I had dinner from a local restaurant here, from the Sardine Factory in Cannery Row, kind of a legendary local restaurant here. I had some delicious swordfish, like a swordfish chop with sun-dried tomato compote on top with some broccolini and a beet salad. Very healthy. Washed down with a little The Calling pinot noir.”
What is your next project?
“I’m working on a big charity event the rest of today. It’s going to be this June. I do it every other year here at Pebble Beach. It’s called The Calling to Pebble Beach. ... And we raise money for our Alzheimer’s center in Houston, which is named for my dad, the Nantz National Alzheimer’s Center. This is the next project. It’s always a project my wife and I pour our heart and soul into, the Nantz National Alzheimer’s Center at Houston Methodist Hospital. ...”
When was your last vacation, where and why?
“The last vacation was in August, we went to Hawaii. And I love Hawaii. My family really knows how to relax there. And we visited Kauai and Maui, and we had eight days and we were able to stay off the phone, soak up the sun and more importantly, have uninterrupted family time.”

An old adage says that the two happiest days of a boat owner’s life are when they buy a boat and when they sell it.
If you’re a candidate to fall into the former category, Travel Channel has a series for you.
In the Sunday series “Boat Buyers,” prospective boat owners go shopping for the watercraft of their dreams – or at least one that fits their budget and level of experience – ranging from the humble used pontoon boat with a price tag of $12,000 all the way up to the $800,000 cabin cruiser that sports three staterooms, two heads and a galley (that’s three bedrooms, two baths and a kitchen to you landlubbers), an 870-horsepower engine and 43 1/2 feet of length. Along the way, our shoppers – and hence viewers – get an education on the latest in marine bells and whistles while test-driving these vessels in some idyllic boating destinations, including Mackinac Island, Michigan, Annapolis, Maryland, Galveston, Texas, Lake Lanier, Georgia, and various locations in Florida. In the end, someone makes their choice from among three or four candidates and writes a check – or takes out a second mortgage.

“We just looked for buyers who were enthusiastic and represented a bunch of different viewpoints,” explains Courtney White, senior vice president of programming at Travel Channel. “We didn’t have people who were so advanced in their boat buying that they wouldn’t ask sort of the basic questions that would help somebody who doesn’t know about boats really learn something in the show. So the real advanced expert boat buyers or boat owners weren’t really what we were looking for.
“We were looking for people who were first-timers or upgrading their first boat but people who were new to this world and were pretty excited about what opportunities it could open up in terms of their enjoyment of where they live.”

How did you become interested in acting?
You know to this day, I’m not certain. My first play (at age 7), my mother’s husband at that time was a student at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. And for whatever reason, I wanted to be an actor at that point, so I did that. I ended up going to a school in Minneapolis at a theater company called the Children’s Theatre Company. So yeah, I wanted to do it for whatever reason from an early age and I’m still trying to figure out why (laughs). Now I know why.
I couldn’t tell you what it was initially, what the initial instinct was, I really can’t. I remember events happening as I got into my teen years and seeing a thing or seeing a show or acting and being profoundly affected by that but that was after I had already wanted to do it. I was by no means a “look at me” child. I didn’t put on shows in the living room or anything. Actually, my mother describes me as a stoic young person.
At what point did you realize you could make a living from acting?
I would have done it no matter if I had ended up sitting here talking to you ... . I think probably when I was a teen I thought maybe I’d go be in a rep company somewhere in the Midwest and do theater. And to this day, I still have a sense of it as being something you do as a life, as a journeyman, and you go from job to job and sometimes it’s going well and sometimes they’re paying you well and sometimes you like the piece of text you’re doing more than others. And they don’t always correlate in terms of the payment and how much you love the work. But I’ve been pretty lucky. I’ve been in some cool things so I feel ver y fortunate.
Marcus Lemonis of “The Partner” on CNBC

Michael Vartan of “The Arrangement” on E! Entertainment Television
“I don’t really watch that much TV. Most of the things I do watch are either documentaries or I watch a lot of – well, lately the news is just so entertaining that it’s hard not to ... . I guess on my DVR, I’ve got weird stuff like – of course ‘SNL’ is not weird but then I’ve got a couple of cooking shows that I enjoy, a lot of sports. I’m kind of obsessed with sports. ... I’m an everything fan but hockey is my favorite sport.”

“My favorite show is off the air, which is ‘The Newsroom.’ I mean, I really loved it. Now, I watch ‘Scandal,’ and I also watch ‘Antiques Roadshow.’ I’ll walk around my house and go, ‘That thing’s old.’ And I don’t watch a lot of CNBC during the day, believe it or not. I don’t want to know what the market’s doing; I just want to run my business.”

Clive Standen of “Taken” on NBC
“I’ve recorded a ton of stuff to watch, but I’m so full-out at the moment that I rarely get time to sit down and watch something without being so tired, I fall asleep. I can tell you what happens at the beginning and end of ‘Stranger Things,’ but I haven’t got a clue what happens in the middle!”

Aisha Hinds of “Underground” on WGN America

“Right now, I’m watching ‘Narcos,’ I am watching ‘Stranger Things.’ And I m starting to catch up now on ‘Game of Thrones’ because I’m way behind everyone else.”

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are as ready as can be for the NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament – AKA March Madness – and should enter as a top seed out of the West Coast Conference thanks in part to the productive play of point guard Nigel WilliamsGoss. The Zags and Williams-Goss will have high expectations as they begin tournament play either Thursday, March 16 or Friday March 17. Those are the dates for the first round, or round of 64, which will air on CBS, TNT, TBS and TruTV.
Gonzaga has played in 19 straight NCAA Tournaments dating back to 1999 and made their first appearance in 1995. However, they’ve never advanced past the Elite 8 despite entering as the No.1 seed in 2013 and a No. 2 in 2015. Then, this season along came Williams-Goss as a red shirt Junior transfer from Washington who along with fellow transfer Jordan Mathews from California wasted no time buying into Coach Mark Few’s scheme.
The Zags not only climbed atop the AP Poll in February but are among the leaders in nearly every offensive category, including field goal percentage with Williams-Goss being their leading scorer and averaging over 30 minutes on the court per game. The challenge for Williams-Goss and crew entering the NCAA Tournament is maintaining the same level of play in a one-and-done situation; something they’ve not been able to do in the recent past. Perhaps Williams-Goss and the rest of this version of the Bulldogs can finally crack the Final Four.

Charles Michael Davis has a definite do-it-yourselfer streak.
For instance, when the 32-year-old actor got tired of running to Ikea to buy furniture, he made his own bookcase and table. When he didn’t want to pay for artwork, he created his own paintings with acrylics and canvas.
His penchant for trying his hand at things that pique his curiosity extends to his profession, where this season he directs an episode of his CW series “The Originals,” which returns for its fourth season Friday, March 17.
“The people that I admire really like looking at mapping careers,” the actor who plays charismatic vampire Marcel explains. “I read a book by Peter Drucker, ‘Managing Oneself,’ and he says you should look 10 years ahead and start deciding who you want to be, what you want to be doing and then start training on it now and give yourself a 10-year head start. So I started to look at careers and the people I really admired – Mark Wahlberg for producing and Brad Pitt for producing and Clint Eastwood for writing and directing and Denzel Washington for directing as well – and so I thought I would love to have that opportunity.”
Davis started shadowing directors and writers on his show and in other productions. He talked to other actors, including castmate Paul Wesley, about their experiences directing and even watched YouTube videos. Eventually the powers that be at “The Originals” recognized he was serious, and after two years he was given his own episode, the seventh of this season.
He says that while it was a lot of multitasking and a lot of politicking, among other things, he loved directing and would be open to more such opportunities.
“’From here on out, I can call myself a director – especially as long as I keep paying my DGA fees,” Davis says with a laugh.

Based on the 2000 movie of the same name, this hourlong drama stars Rupert Grint (the “Harry Potter” film franchise) and Ed Westwick (“Gossip Girl”) as members of a gang of young London hustlers who find themselves suddenly thrust into the world of organized crime when they stumble upon a truckload of stolen gold bullion. The thing is, those visions could prove key in getting him out of his legal troubles. Dana Delany and Garret Dillahunt also star.

SUNDAY
2:30 p.m. on KOKI; 9 p.m. on FS1 NASCAR Racing
The Monster Energy Cup Series heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Kobalt 400, where last year Brad Keselowski emerged from extremely high winds and even a sand storm as the victor. That certainly is not the standard for March weather in Las Vegas where Cup Series drivers will be looking to get an early jump on the rest of the field on the 1.5-mile trioval track, where Keselowski also won in 2014.
9 p.m. on KJRH
Shades of Blue Wozniak (Ray Liotta) opposes FBI man Stahl (Warren Kole) with full force over mayoral prospect Julia Ayers (guest star Anna Gunn, “Breaking Bad”) in the new episode “Eye of the Hurricane.” Harlee’s (Jennifer Lopez) latest case has a link to her past. A newcomer to the precinct causes worry for officers who don’t want their secrets discovered. Margaret Colin also guest stars. Drea de Matteo, Vincent Laresca and Sarah Jeffery also star.
9 p.m. on KTUL American Crime
The appropriately titled “Season Three: Episode One” opens a new round of creator and executive producer John Ridley’s drama anthology, now focused on questionable labor practices found at a North Carolina farm by a man (returnee Benito Martinez) seeking his missing son. Regina King, who won Emmys for the show’s first two seasons, also is back; so are Felicity Huffman and Timothy Hutton. Cherry Jones (“24”) and Janel Moloney (“The West Wing”) join the cast.
MONDAY
7 p.m. on FREE Young & Hungry Gabi and Josh (Emily Osment, Jonathan Sadowski) try to prove to their very skeptical friends that they won’t let anything like “feelings” complicate their new relationship status as friends with benefits as this hit sitcom opens Season 5 with “Young & Punch Card.” Almost immediately, however, this new situation complicates Sofia’s (Aimee Carrero) plot to persuade a co-
worker to ask her out. Elsewhere, Yolanda (Kym Whitley) tries to cut corners on the job, causing a problem for Elliot (Rex Lee).
7:31 p.m. on FREE Baby Daddy
Freeform’s top-rated sitcom, which recently won a People’s Choice Award as favorite cable TV comedy, returns for Season 6, opening three months after the fifth season finale. Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau) is still obsessively searching for Elle (guest star Katie Gill), his elusive dream girl, while expectant parents Danny and Riley (Derek Theler, Chelsea Kane) are in the market for a good obstetrician. Tucker’s (Tahj Mowry) also back from Los Angeles, but won’t talk about that trip. Melissa Peterman also stars.
9 p.m. on HBO
Movie: Cries From Syria
Drawn from hundreds of hours of war footage by activists and citizen journalists, filmmaker Evegeny Afineevsky’s new documentary celebrates the unbreakable courage of a people who refuse to surrender their hope for a better tomorrow, even after almost inconceivable suffering and loss from the violence that has rocked their country without respite for nearly six years. Actress Helen Mirren provides the narration.
TUESDAY
8 p.m. on KJRH
This Is Us One of the top new programs of this television season, by the standards of both ratings and reviews, the time-jumping drama series ends its freshman year — and it certainly will continue, since it’s already been renewed for the next two seasons. Expect leave-viewerswanting-more developments in the marriage of Jack and Rebecca (Milo Ventimigila, Mandy Moore) and the trials of their now-adult children (Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley).
9 p.m. on FX
The Americans
A new episode called “Pests” finds Stan and Oleg (Noah Emmerich, Costa Ronin) both wrestling with some of the unpleasant consequences of their hugely complicated history. Meanwhile, Philip and Elizabeth (Matthew Rhys, Keri Russell) embark on a new mission that carries devastating implications for their country. Holly Taylor also stars.
9:01 p.m. on KJRH Trial & Error
“Making a Murderer” and other true-crime shows take swipes from this new sitcom, casting multiple Emmy winner John Lithgow as a Southern professor who’s the chief suspect in his wife’s murder. Nicholas D’Agosto (“Gotham”) also stars as a novice attorney sent from New York to represent the man, but the client gives him little help in building a solid defense. Jayma Mays (“Glee”) also stars in “Chapter 1:
A Big Crime in a Small Town.” Another episode follows.
WEDNESDAY
8 p.m. on KQCW The 100
It might not be their first choice, but the only option for Clarke and Roan (Eliza Taylor, Zach McGowan) is to become allies in the new episode “We Will Rise.” They must navigate their way through a dangerous area to reach Abby (Paige Turco) and give her something that’s muchneeded. Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Devon Bostick, Lindsey Morgan, Christopher Larkin, Richard Harmon, Isaiah Washington and Henry Ian Cusick also star.
8 p.m. on TNT Major Crimes
The Major Crimes team is confronted with the unlikely sight of a very heavy corpse suspended 40 feet up in a tree and surrounded by loose pot when medical examiner Dr. Morales (Jonathan Del Arco) arrives on the crime scene in the new episode “Dead Drop.” Elsewhere, Julio Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) takes steps to become the legal guardian of young Mark Jarvis (Henry Kaufman), while Andy Flynn (Tony Denison) plans a special surprise for Sharon (Mary McDonnell).
9 p.m. on OWN Greenleaf
Expect plenty more family tensions as this addictive drama series returns for its sophomore season in “A House Divided,” which finds the Greenleaf family stunned by the aftermath of Mac’s (GregAlan Williams) release. An announcement by Basie Skank (guest star Jason Dirden), the pastor of rival Triumph Ministries, opens a heated rift between the Bishop (Keith David) and Jacob (Lamman Rucker). Lady Mae (Lynn Whitfield) makes a desperate last attempt to save the Bishop. Merle Dandridge also stars.
9 p.m. on COM Workaholics
No doubt buddies Blake, Adam and Ders (Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine and Anders Holm, who also co-created this hit “slack-com”) are looking forward to racking up some quality chill time after they wrap up their seventh and final season with “Party Gawds.” The season finale lets them end things on a literally high note, as the trio achieves the status of veritable deities of extreme partying after an energy-

drink company starts paying them to throw off-the-leash ragers.
7 p.m. on KJRH Superstore
America Ferrera reunites with “Ugly Betty” co-star Tony Plana, who again plays her father, in the new episode “Integrity.” Amy (Ferrera) gets companionship and consolation from Jonah (Ben Feldman), who goes with her to help her parents move out of the house she grew up in. Glenn (Mark McKinney) wants a store award that he fears Garrett (Colton Dunn) has a better shot at. Dina (Lauren Ash) makes use of her knowledge of Mateo’s (Nico Santos) personal life.
7 p.m. on KQCW
The Vampire Diaries
For those who may have missed last week’s series finale, “I Was Feeling Epic,” here’s another chance to see how the saga of Stefan and Damon (Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder) and their cohorts wrapped up after eight seasons. At this point (and even before the episode first aired), it’s no spoiler alert to mention Nina Dobrev’s return as Elena for the send-off. Immediately following is “Forever Yours,” a retrospective hour with comments from cast and crew members.
9 p.m. on COM Review
If you’re not familiar with this consistently funny and gratifyingly weird little comedy series, now’s the time to rectify that oversight, as Andy Daly returns for his third and final season as Forrest MacNeil, an earnest critic who devotes his days to reviewing, not films, books or TV, but life experiences. Having survived a near-fatal fall that capped Season 2, Andy is inexplicably more convinced than ever that his commentaries are immensely important. Tonight’s topic: putting a pet to sleep.
9 p.m. on FX Baskets
Few would argue that Martha (Martha Kelly) doesn’t have many lovely qualities, such as a sweet disposition, but equally few would suggest strong intestinal fortitude and a will of iron are among them. She takes a baby step in that direction, however, in the new episode “Yard Sale,” which finds Martha getting the hang of a new skill: haggling.
9 p.m. on USA Colony
Will, Katie and Broussard (Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies, Tory Kittles) all search for a way out of the colony in a new episode called “Lost Boy.” Meanwhile, Maddie (Amanda Righetti) gets some visitors in the Green Zone, while Bram (Alex Neustaedter) looks for closure. Peter Jacobson also stars.
FRIDAY
7 p.m. on KJRH Grimm
Nick and Eve (David Giuntoli, Bitsie Tulloch) are transported to strange

surroundings in the new episode
“Where the Wild Things Were.” Trying to retrieve them becomes complicated for their allies, who tenuously seek assistance from Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) — who has a personal stake in the situation, thanks to Diana (guest star Hannah R. Loyd). Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner and Claire Coffee also star.
7 p.m. on KOKI
Rosewood
A music producer who definitely wasn’t loved by everyone is located — in a mummified state — aboard a yacht in “Mummies & Meltdowns.” As Rosewood (Morris Chestnut) tries to determine who hated the victim that much, he also tries to deal with some unsettling personal information. Sam Huntington, Eric Winter and Janel Parrish (“Pretty Little Liars”) guest star.
7 p.m. on KQCW The Originals
With “The Vampire Diaries” over, its spinoff series returns to begin Season 4 with “Gather Up the Killers.” The saga jumps far ahead from where it left off, resuming well into the reign of Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), whose apparent vanquishing of Klaus (Joseph Morgan) has made him the ruler of New Orleans’ vampires. However, a threat from newcomers forces him to seek help.
8:01 p.m. on KOKI
Sleepy Hollow
The vault gets an apparent intruder in the new episode “The Way of the Gun,” but as Crane (Tom Mison) and the team learn more about who she is, they realize she ultimately might be valuable to them. Alex (Rachel Melvin) has reason to get a grip on her emotions. Kamar de los Reyes continues his guest role.
Janina Gavankar, Lyndie Greenwood and Oona Yaffe also star.
9 p.m. on SHOW
SXSW Comedy With Natasha Leggero Part 2

Israeli Prime Minister Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Benjamin

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today that there is no greater supporter of the Jewish state than President Trump. Said Trump, “Absolutely, I love Florida. Fantastic Jewish state.”
Defense officials are reporting that a Russian spy ship has been spotted patrolling 30 miles off the coast of the United States. Said one U.S. official [shows photo of Trump], “Oh, that’s my Uber.”
The big story is that last night, The New York Times published a bombshell report that President Trump’s campaign was in contact with Russian intelligence since 2015. When asked if it was true, Trump said, “Nyet! I mean, no!” Trump went on Twitter this morning and said that MSNBC and CNN are unwatchable. Then he said, “And I know, because I spend ALL DAY watching them.”
We just learned from multiple intelligence sources that Trump aides were, quote, “in constant touch with senior Russian officials
during the campaign.” Constant Touch, by the way, is also Trump’s Secret Service code name. Trump held a press conference today because in the middle of all this insanity, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House. As a courtesy, Trump asked his staff to put a 24-hour hold on retweeting neoNazis. That’s just good manners.

Those of you who have kids, or if you’re a weirdo adult with a dollhouse, probably know there’s a new American Girl Doll on the way. For the first time ever, this American Girl is a boy. His name is Logan Everett [shows doll photo]. I already don’t like him. He looks like the football player who joins the drama club just to pick up chicks.
At the box office this past weekend, “Lego Batman” beat out the sequel to “Fifty Shades of Grey.” When asked for comment, the movie “Fifty Shades” said, “That’s OK, I like being dominated.”
Astronomers say they now know the approximate weight of the Milky Way. They found this out by adding 10 pounds to the Milky Way’s weight on its Tinder profile. Thieves in London made off with $3 million worth of rare books from the Middle Ages. Authorities describe the suspect as “boring.”
