Scout Troops of Howe pick up trash
The Girl Scout troops of Howe - Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadet - picked up trash around the schools. 21 girls participated collecting over 20 bags of trash. Not to be outdone, the Boy Scouts picked up trash all along Denny Street close to the First United Methodist Church. These fine young people are doing their part to make Howe "The Prettiest Little Town in Texas"
Howe Athletic Banquet set for April 26 The Howe Athletic Booster Club has announced that the annual athletic banquet will take place on Sunday, April 26 at 5pm at the Howe High School Cafetorium. A dinner will be served by Feast on This Catering of Sherman. The dinner will be chicken with angel hair pasta, mixed season vegetables, salad, fresh baked bread, dessert and tea.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door and can be purchased at the Howe High School office or at any of the remaining baseball and softball games.
