2. Senator Finkelstein: I supported this amendment when it first came out, and believe a person should still have the availability to be a senator.
3. Chair Malhotra: What would happen with the vacancy if a senator drops their position?
a. President Quail: It would remain vacant until the next election in the spring.

d. Secretary
i. Fall Merch Order beginning production- should arrive by welcome week!
ii. Spring senate minutes should be uploaded to the website by next week
iii. Room Request/GIHU Request Form
1. If you want an event posted on GIHU I need a graphic- be sure to send me one as soon as it is made!
2. Made a few revisions to the form- make sure to look over the room reservation confirmation I send via email
iv. Catering Request Form- 2 weeks in advance of an event
E. Committee Chair Reports
a. Appropriations
i. Finalizing budget appeals for the first meeting!
ii. The semester calendar is finalized. Budget weekend will be on October 31st and November 1st!
iii. Treasurer training should be the second week of school (week of the 8th), still waiting on some logistics with the new digital budget platform.

i. If you have any concerns or suggestions regarding any facility issue, whether that involves dining, residence, academic buildings, maintenance, or the fitness center, please reach out to our committee so we can address them promptly with administration.
ii. Upcoming meetings with Compass representative, Lexis Meehan, to discuss adding more $7 meal options, expanding menu variety to accommodate diverse dietary needs, and making Boost more accessible and user-friendly for those with dietary restrictions.
1. If you have any food suggestions that you’d like to see offered on campus, please share them with us!
