Dr. Stephen Feig
Dr. Stephen Feig is an osteopathic physician with over 36 years of experience in holistic and integrative medicine. He has devoted his career to supporting patients with chronic fatigue, digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, and other conditions that are often overlooked in conventional care. For more than 30 years, he has also lectured throughout the United States on gut health and nutrition, with a focus on the role of the intestinal microbiome. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers College, where he focused on biological sciences and psychology, exploring the connections between the mind and body. His medical training included pharmacology, diagnostics, internal medicine, pediatrics, endocrinology, gynecology, and primary care. Dr. Feig's clinical approach combines the structure of Western medicine with a broader understanding of how the body’s systems interact. He works to identify and address the underlying causes of imbalance, paying attention to how trauma can affect both mind and body. Drawing on functional medicine, nutrition, and mind-body practices, he provides support for patients managing complex and long-term conditions. Dr. Feig uses testing carefully, selecting only methods that bring meaningful guidance to treatment decisions. These may include stool analysis, hormone and micronutrient panels, or immune and inflammation markers. Rather than treating lab results in isolation, he reviews findings in the context of each patient’s health, allowing him to design treatment plans that promote balance and well-being. His focus extends to gastrointestinal health, hormonal regulation, immune balance, and chronic inflammation. He aims to restore function gradually and with precision, helping patients achieve improvements in energy, clarity, mood, and overall resilience.
