INGREDIENTS
1 tin of chopped tomatoes (39p)
1 pepper (53p)
1 onion (15p)
Some cloves of garlic (24p)
100g of penne pasta (8p)
5g of mixed herbs (25p)

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Boil a saucepan with enough water to cover your pasta and add a pinch of salt.
2. Add the pasta to the boiling water and set a timer for ten minutes.
3. Prepare your vegetables by cutting out the middle seed part of the pepper, taking the skin off the onion and chop in half, remove the skin from the garlic cloves and then chop the head and tail off. Slice the pepper, onion and garlic into strips.
4. Warm a frying pan on medium heat and add a drizzle of oil in the pan.
5. Add all the vegetables to the pan and allow them to soften.
6. Once soft, add the tin of chopped tomatoes and mixed herbs and mix until hot.
7. When the pasta is cooked, drain and add to the vegetable pan. Mix the pasta with the sauce and then serve.
