1. Peel and dice your onion and garlic.
2. Heat a pan on medium with some oil in the pan.
3. Add the garlic and onion to the pan, and stir until sizzling.
4. Add the curry powder to the pan and mix. Then add the chickpeas.
5. Put the rice into an saucepan with equal parts water and add salt to the water. Bring to a boil, and then bring the heat to low with a lid on for 10 minutes.
6. Add the tin of chopped tomatoes to the curry, and mix keeping it on a medium heat.
7. Once the rice and curry is cooked, serve on a plate.
