IT’S TIME TO BE IN THE ROOM AGAIN.

To feel that collective breath, the shared silence, the spontaneous applause that erupts when something extraordinary happens onstage. Thank you for being here tonight— thank you for choosing to show up, to engage, and to be part of something live.

Creating moments of awe—like the one you’re about to experience tonight—is what makes the TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND season so unique. It’s international. It’s deeply curated. It’s intentionally designed to connect across cultures, communities, and generations.

These artists speak through movement. And while it can be hard to put into words, what they create is undeniable when you’re in the room. Diverse. Global. Powerful. Surprising. Moving. That’s the magic of TITAS.

Again, nothing replaces the live experience.

We’re proud to contribute to the international profile of Dallas. We celebrate our adventurous, curious, and passionate audiences. And we recognize the immense value that cultural exchange and the arts bring to our communities. This is the heart of TITAS—it’s how we help shape and elevate the cultural landscape of North Texas.

And every season, new audience members tell us the same thing: "I’m overwhelmed—I had no idea. This was not what I expected."

That reaction? It never gets old. It’s Golden.

After more than four decades of presenting groundbreaking dance, we know the power of what happens when world-class artists meet open-hearted audiences.

And the 2025/26 season will not disappoint.

Ten extraordinary companies from the U.S., Spain, Canada, Taiwan, and France— including three making their Texas or U.S. debut right here in Dallas. Breathtaking artistry, thrilling athleticism, unforgettable performances. This is a season you won’t want to miss.

So thank you.

Thank you for being part of another remarkable year. Thank you for saying yes to live performance. Thank you for supporting TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND and the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

What we do together truly makes a difference.

Myokine is inspired by molecules released by the muscles during physical effort, associated with the regeneration of body and mind. The piece explores the connection between movement, hope, urgency, and resilience, while revealing how light and shadow respond to, oppose, and nourish each other. In a world sometimes perceived as dark, the choreography draws luminous bursts that can only exist at the heart of darkness.

The performers become architects, protectors, and messengers of a vital breath, seeking and sharing moments of clarity that pierce the gloom. For Anne Plamondon, these “molecules of hope” embody the body’s and dance’s salvatory role in the face of our era’s upheavals. Movement becomes an outlet, a place to welcome our vulnerabilities and transform them into a shared strength.

Driven by a hypnotic score and a passionate Canadian cast, Myokine celebrates the power of dance and the vitality of togetherness. A physical, luminous, and profoundly human work, it reminds us that light only finds its full meaning in the midst of shadow — and that the moving body can heal, unite, and restore a sense of purpose.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Anne Plamondon Productions is a contemporary dance company recognized for its deep commitment to creativity and innovation. Founded by renowned choreographer and dancer Anne Plamondon, the company aims to stimulate the avant-garde in dance through creation, research, and production of original works.

The company is firmly convinced of the importance of education and artistic training. It is dedicated to the continuous development of teaching programs that nourish artistic practices, transmit its expertise, and support the professional development of emerging artists. Concurrently, its commitment to education includes community outreach initiatives, aimed at making dance accessible to a diverse audience and encouraging the artistic development of individuals.

Artistic collaboration is at the heart of the company's approach. It values partnerships with artists from diverse cultures, as well as institutions and organizations, both locally and globally, in order to create a dynamic network of exchange and sharing. These collaborations are essential for nourishing the company's creativity, enriching its productions, and strengthening its impact in the world of contemporary dance. The company's approach is characterized by a constant desire for exploration and openness, where experimentation and artistic dialogue are central to its commitment.

Anne Plamondon is a Canadian choreographer and dancer, known for her captivating, fluid, and radiant approach of dance. She began her choreographic career with the solo Les mêmes yeux que toi in 2012, collaborating with director Marie Brassard. She also created Mécaniques Nocturnes in 2017 and other notable works such as Seulement toi, Counter Cantor, and Fiddle Embrace for the Fall for Dance North festival, as well as Yearn To Make A Difference for Alberta Ballet.

In 2018, Anne founded Anne Plamondon Productions, a platform for her own creative projects, fostering new artistic collaborations. Her latest creation, Myokine, bringing seven performers together on stage was presented in 2023 in Montréal as part of the Danse Danse season. Anne was a seminal figure in RUBBERBAND from 2002 to 2015, initially as a dancer and then as co-artistic director. She was deeply involved in the creation of over ten works and in teaching the RUBBERBAND Method. From 2006 to 2015, she also danced for Kidd Pivot under the direction of Crystal Pite, participating in four creations including the duo A Picture of You Falling, which won an Olivier Award in 2015.

Her international career includes stints with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Nederlands Dans Theater 2, and Gulbenkian Ballet, performing works by renowned choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, Hans Van Manen, and Ohad Naharin. As an independent artist, she has collaborated with figures like James Kudelka, Marie Chouinard, and Marcos Morau, as well as the contemporary circus company Les 7 doigts de la main.

In addition to her creative work, Anne is active as an educator in various training institutions such as EBSQ, EDQ, EDCM, and Arts Umbrella. She has also been the dance commissioner at the Domaine Forget in Charlevoix since 2018. In 2023, Anne was honored as a protégée of Margie Gillis in the Governor General's Performing Arts Awards mentorship program, recognizing her significant impact in the field of contemporary dance.

"It is a quest for meaning, the discovery of myself and others, that fuels my curiosity. This quest for meaning is at the heart of my approach. It ignites my fire. A strange paradox: it is at this moment that my body comes alive and takes over. It moves, sometimes rushes, folds back, and becomes complex, attentive to the impulses stemming from vibrant music or a troubling state. And when this happens, I feel my dance in its purest, most accurate, and authentic essence. Sometimes, only then, do I experience this brief state of grace, mysterious and fleeting. It is to rediscover this that I dance over and over again."
