TAKE CARE OF OUR NATURE

Protect the forest: respect the trees – don't climb them, sit on them, or hang from their branches; Carry your rubbish with you until you find a suitable bin; Don't interfere with wildlife: avoid chasing, touching, or feeding land or marine species; Camping and overnight stays are only allowed in authorised parks and areas, with the proper permit; For picnics and barbecues, use only forest parks and leisure areas equipped with fire pits. Lighting fires outside these areas is not allowed; Don't pick plants, flowers, rocks, or shells – they're part of the ecosystem; When hiking, always stay on the trail, pay attention to the path, and stay distant from cliffs - no photo is worth your life; Respect physical boundaries, signage, and protective barriers; In all areas, especially in terrestrial or marine nature reserves,

BE RESPONSIBLE ON OUR ROADS

Parking:

Blue lines = paid parking | White lines = free parking; Spaces with 'M' = residents only; Don't park on yellow lines, sharp bends, in front of driveways or sloped ramps; First come, first parked – don’t reserve spots with people or objects.

Roundabouts:

Give way to those already inside; Taking the first exit? Stay in the right lane; Next exit? Use the left lane, gradually moving to the right before exiting; Always signal when changing lanes.

Safe driving:

On sharp or blind bends, use the horn to signal your presence; When going downhill, use low gears to avoid overheating the brakes; GPS may not always give the most reliable directions. Stick to main roads and ask a local if you're unsure; Always use your indicator when changing direction; On steep, narrow roads, priority goes to drivers heading downhill - give way carefully; Keep your eyes on the road and both hands on the steering wheel.

Dress appropriately for the occasion: swimwear is for the beach, hiking boots for the mountains. In religious spaces, remove hats and sunglasses; Use public or establishment restrooms – never use the street as a toilet; Respect private property: do not enter backyards, land or homes without permission; Respect quiet hours: avoid making noise between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.; Join cultural traditions with respect; Don’t photograph people without their permission; Help protect heritage: don’t touch artworks or lean on historical structures; Visit less touristy spots and discover authentic experiences; Always greet shopkeepers with 'good morning' or 'good afternoon' when entering a store.
