Welcome to Day Two of The International meeting. This is our final race meeting of 2021, and we should be able to look forward to a brilliant day of racing. It has been a wonderful start to the season so far and a real highlight has been being able to welcome you all back onto our racecourse to enjoy the first class sport on offer. Today we have an exciting seven race card on offer, with the Unibet International Hurdle taking centre stage. This is always an exciting race and has a strong role of honour including The New One, Zarkander and Rooster Booster. Today’s card also features another competitive handicap Chase, the Racing Post Gold Cup. It looks like competitve field will head to post for this race and we wish all connections the best of luck. As 2021 draws to a close, we are delighted that our 2022 Wall Calendars will be available to purchase for £10 from the horse box under the Crescent Walkway at the top of the Parade Ring. All money will go towards Tiggy’s Trust. We would like to thank all our sponsors today; JCB, Bear René, Racing Post, Albert Bartlett, Unibet and Close Brothers. We thank them for their continued support and wish them all a wonderful day with us. We would like to take this time to thank you all for your support throughout 2021 and particularly as we introduce additional requirements for our racegoers as we follow the revised Government Covid guidance. We have seen fantastic, historic sporting moments here at the Home of Jump Racing in the last 12 months and we look forward to seeing what 2022 has in store.
