The Vice Chancellor, Professor Elwen Evans KC commented “This commitment reflects our dedication to building strong and inclusive communities across our campuses. It also recognises the unique skills and experiences that armed forces personnel bring to our university community and society as a whole. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible. We look forward to building on this commitment in the months and years to come.”

We’re proud to share that the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) has officially signed the Armed Forces Covenant — a national promise to ensure that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated with fairness and respect. This means UWTSD is formally committed to supporting members of the armed forces community — including students and staff who are veterans, reservists, cadet volunteers or part of military families. Whether you're currently serving, have served, or have a family connection to the military, we want you to feel recognised, included, and supported during your time at university

This is part of our wider commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students. We’ll also be exploring new ways to raise awareness and offer support for those connected to the armed forces. Want to Learn More or Need Support? Visit: www.armedforcescovenant.gov.uk
