LEARNING ENRICHMENT AND ADVISING PROGRAM (LEAP) SET UP FOR SUCCESS The Learning Enrichment and Advising Program (LEAP) offers students a supportive community that extends throughout their first year. Students whose application to St. Catherine University indicates that they will benefit from LEAP’s level of support are invited to participate in the program.
WHAT TO EXPECT • Structured academic support facilitated by the University’s Learning Specialist • Access to one-on-one academic coaching • A four-day Katies Embark experience to enjoy a more successful transition into college • A 1-credit academic success course during the fall semester
KATIES EMBARK Katies Embark is a four-day, overnight experience held the week before the beginning of the fall semester. It is designed to help students become familiar with University resources, feel more at ease, and ensure a smooth transition from high school to college. Students get to know classmates prior to beginning their courses and develop academic readiness skills in a supportive and interactive environment.
