They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. ITS UNIQUENESS IS WHAT DREW ME TO BUYING IT...
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquir ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!
Saw this and had to have it. This 2020 base model GT is named Kaboomz, affectionately for the Marvin the Martian 5.0 Badge that it proudly wears holding a Thin Blue Line Flag. Its uniqueness is what drew me to buying it and the modifications started pretty quickly. Kaboomz has a 3.0 Liter Whipple, as well as a full MBRP exhaust with a Double Helix X-Pipe. There is also a rear seat delete.
Shawn Harmon at United Performance of Bradenton has helped me with the tweaking of the car as well as it has a GT350 PCU in it. Right now the car is fast enough for me, on a bad launch it still ran an 11.68 @ 127 mph on cold street tires too. I’ve been very impressed with the 10R80 automatic, as it’s been the first automatic Stang I’ve had in over 25 years. More changes are in the works, the last was the TrueSpec GT4 heat extracting hood vents that really help with engine heat. Pics are compliments of Matt Velazquez owner of EmVee Media.
