LOOKING FORWARD TO 2021 With so many fundraisers, galas, events and concerts canceled or postponed, many organizations and artists are still determining new dates to schedule. Here are a few we have been following and some dates for the coming months. We look forward to seeing you there!

PICASSO.FIGURES AT FRIST ART MUSEUM

This Exhibition featuring approximately 75 paintings, works on paper, and sculptures, Picasso. Figures will make its sole U.S. appearance in Nashville from February 5 through May 2. (see our article abouth the exhibition on page 13)

NASHVILLE OPERA GUILD’S LA BELLA NOTTE: Hitting the High C’s

A Virtual Gala celebrating Nashville Opera’s 40th Anniversary and John Hoomes’ 25th Anniversary as Artistic Director. Hitting the High C’s of courage, collaboration, and congratulations. Co-Chairs: Emily Weiss and Barbara Warren Ann Marie and Martin McNamara will receive the Francis Robinson and Marion Couch Award from Guild President Stacy Widelitz. Opera Creative Director Cara Schneider will host the online program. Virtual Red Carpet 6:45PM, Music and Festivities 7:00PM-8:00PM La Bella Notte benefits Nashville Opera’s vibrant education programs, which have reached well over half a million children since the company started touring in 1995. Despite the many challenges this year, Nashville Opera is developing a virtual school tour and an exciting new mobile stage—Opera ON WHEELS—that will expand the Opera’s reach! La Bella Notte will be free to the public on nashvilleopera.org—a range of support levels are available with perks at every level. Patrons will enjoy complimentary delivery of prosecco and gourmet appetizers from Bacon & Caviar, a celebration box, and commemorative gifts with their $200 reservation. Supporters at the $100 level receive the celebration box of delightful favors, enough for two. All registered guests will be invited to participate in the Virtual Red Carpet before the gala and will have their names featured in the credits of the program. NASHVILLE BALLET’S VIRTUAL Attitude Part I

This mixed repertoire performance, split into a virtual two-part series, showcases a collection of new and popular works. Chris Stewart’s iconic Under the Lights returns to pay tribute to the life and legacy of Johnny Cash alongside Superstitions by Jennifer Archibald. This series will also include Artistic Director Paul Vasterling’s newest work Seasons, featuring the music of Vivaldi recomposed by Max Richter. The performances will be available to view any time between 7:00 p.m. on Friday through 1 1:00 p.m. on Sunday during the performance weekend via virtual ticket. Award-winning designer Zang Toi makes a triumphant return to Nashville to show his Spring 2021 Collection presented by Gus Mayer Chairmen: Angela Bostelman and Sarah Reisner The Symphony Fashion Show is one of the Nashville Symphony’s two major fundraisers each year. Proceeds from the event support the organization’s education and community engagement programs – which annually reach tens of thousands of Middle Tennessee children and adults through free concerts, classroom activities, hands-on instruction.
