The grounds of Vila Trate also offer a large wooden barn with three covered terraces for socializing, as well as an open air kitchen. The barn’s upper floor houses 3 family apartments, each for up to 4 persons. The main house also boasts a preserved authentic wine cellar. Kambra is a charming stone house with a garden, located in the village Pliskovica on the Karst Plateau near the Italian border. Not far from the Adriatic sea, yet still undiscovered by the crowds, it sits within a range of pleasant hills accentuated by quaint villages and vineyards where you can taste some of the best wines in the world.

The 400-year-old barn has been carefully restored. The open-plan space spans over three levels, with distinct areas for cooking, living, and sleeping. A contemporary concrete cube opposite the house is an extra bedroom, bathroom, utility room, and summer kitchen. Embraced by a pergola, it seamlessly connects to the garden, which serves as an inviting outdoor living space with a terrace, dining area, and hot tub.
