THE 24TH SEOUL INT’L CAFE SHOW 2025

The 24th Seoul Int’l Cafe Show, where we shared the infinite possibilities held within a single cup of coffee, has successfully come to a close.

What began as a small cup has grown into a universal language that connects people around the world. At the center of this journey, Cafe Show Seoul continues to share the vision for the future of the global coffee industry.

This year, 631 companies from 35 countries, 3,903 brands, and approximately 130,000 attendees participated.  From farms to cafes, from producers to consumers,from brands to creators—and everyone who loves coffee—we gather within this one cup to exchange values, inspire one another, and explore ways to grow together.

As a stage for business and a platform for culture, Cafe Show Seoul will keep building a bigger, and more connected coffee world.

Held concurrently, the World Coffee Leaders Forum has established itself as a global knowledge platform for exploring changes and the future of the coffee market, sharing insights and business strategies from industry leaders.

Furthermore, the Seoul Coffee Festival played a significant role in promoting the joy and scalability of coffee culture by delivering diverse coffee lifestyle experiences throughout the city.

Moving forward, we will continue to create broader connections and sustainable value at the heart of the global coffee industry. Thank you for being with us. See you next year.

Sustainable Booth & Materials

Cafe Show Seoul minimizes waste by using reusable modular structures and eco-friendly materials. Unlike traditional wooden booths that are discarded, our modular booths are designed to be disassembled and recovered for 100% reuse. All components, including walls and furniture, are repurposed for future exhibitions to achieve near-zero waste.

Coffee Waste Recycling Campaign

During Cafe Show Seoul, we placed eco-friendly paper collection bins at key hall connections to collect and recycle coffee grounds from exhibitor booths. We also implemented a separate food waste disposal system to maximize resource recovery and ensure proper waste separation.

Tumbler Use Campaign

In conjunction with our reusable cup campaign, we operated six tumbler washing stations equipped with automatic sanitizers. This initiative encouraged the use of reusable cups and significantly reduced the consumption of disposables. Visitors experienced a sustainable lifestyle firsthand, naturally raising awareness of waste reduction and environmental responsibility.

To ensure seamless operations, Cafe Show Seoul hired over 188 event staff, including Seoul MICE Supporters, for registration, traffic control, and information services. Local Small Business Win-Win Project (Enjoy Cafe, Seoul Coffee Spot)

A total of 261 partner shops participated in Enjoy Cafe, a program open to any cafe in Korea, alongside 20 “Seoul Coffee Spots” selected to boost the local economy. As the entire city transformed into a coffee festival, Seoul Coffee Festival filled Starfield Library and various locations across Seoul with coffee, art, and creative content. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the festival successfully concluded its journey, solidifying its position as a global event that celebrates diverse coffee cultures. The theme ‘Coffee-verse’—a blend of ‘Coffee’ and ‘Universe’—symbolized the infinite expansion and possibilities of coffee. Moving beyond a single cup, the festival presented a coffee universe where culture, art, and stories converged, offering participants a truly expanded coffee experience.

The Mini Coffee Art Gallery, nestled within the space, was a haven where the art and emotions inspired by coffee unfolded. Presented alongside the Coffee Library, it layered visual artistry over the literary inspiration of books. Featuring drawings by artists Cacol and Ye-seul Kim, which depicted scenes of travel, daily life, and cafes, the exhibition offered a special moment where the aroma and colors of coffee bloomed into art in the heart of the city.

To ensure a sustainable future where we can enjoy the coffee we love for years to come, the Seoul Coffee Festival introduced various ESG practices. Many attendees eagerly participated in these ESG initiatives alongside Cafe Show Seoul.

Expanding Local Engagement

This year, Cafe Show Seoul once again provided coffee lovers with an opportunity to fully immerse themselves in global coffee culture within the heart of the city. By hosting accessible programs at the Starfield Library, the festival invited citizens to participate freely, delivering an enriched cultural experience to the local community.

Eco-Friendly Paper Shelving

By utilizing eco-friendly paper materials instead of plastic structures, the festival significantly reduced the environmental footprint of the entire exhibition. Visitors enjoyed a lighter and more sustainable exhibition experience, naturally joining the meaningful movement to create a sustainable coffee culture. Moving forward, Cafe Show Seoul will continue to expand this model of practical and sustainable exhibition design.

Boosting Local Tourism

To revitalize the local tourism industry, the festival operated the Seoul Coffee Spot program, featuring 20 unique cafes across the city. This initiative successfully introduced the distinct atmosphere and local culture of each cafe to a wider audience, encouraging visitors to explore various neighborhoods and enjoy fresh, new experiences.

Korea Coffee Championship (KCC)

The Korea Coffee Championship (KCC) is a national competition to select representatives for the World Coffee Championship (WCC), a global stage showcasing the excellence and creativity of specialty coffee. Among the six categories, the Korea National Barista Championship (KNBC) and the Korea Brewers Cup Championship (KBrC) were held concurrently at Cafe Show Seoul.
