Year 6 trip to PGL

This week Year 6 went on their residential trip to PGL. They had a fantastic week filled with excitement and made memories to last a lifetime. The children had a blast participating in a variety of activities, such as the zip-wire, climbing and orienteering where they worked together to find their way through the course. The giant swing was one of their favourite activities of the week, it is a thrilling activity that combines adventure and teamwork. Overall, the trip was a fantastic opportunity for the children to bond, build confidence and create lasting memories.

This morning, Year 1 and 2 delivered a fantastic Harvest Assembly. Dressed in autumnal costumes, the children sang and danced beautifully and spoke their lines so clearly about the importance of giving thanks for the abundance of food and nature. They spoke about Harvest around the world and brought in contributions for a local food bank, reinforcing the values of sharing and helping others.

We are so proud of their hard work and the joy they brought to our school community! Thank you KS1!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Harvest Festival this year, the food will be going to the Tameside East food bank.

Harvest Assembly Cross Country

The first race of the Tameside Cross Country Series took place last Saturday, with more than 20 pupils representing our school.
